Saw him play in his prime, and then afterward. His 1964 Open win proved that anything in life is possible, no matter how low you fall. Wonderful story!

As a 19 year old motorcycle courier for AP Newsphotos, I had the priviledge of covering this spectacular achievement in 100+degree temperatures. I took the photo negatives back to AP to wire this amazing story around the world. A truly unforgettable experience.
Kens 1964 US Open Championship, was certainly one of the greatest performances in a Major..Ever!! Of course, his career at CBS wasn’t bad either! One of the greats!
Can you show that one instruction clip on chipping where on his first try he chips in a very difficult shot. He can't believe it went in, yet he does it so nonchalantly
