This is a comment for Tanya. I'm an American fight fan who has followed Igors' career since 1998. If there is a such thing as fighting charisma, Igor would be the king. His style was a must watch performance, and his demeanor and respect for his opponents after he won is the model of greatness that is seen in much of MMA today and set the standard for the future. I speak not only for myself, but for all his American fans when I say that his performances in the birth of the mixed martial arts era will never be matched in greatness. Igors heart and determination was evident in his MMA record,as he was generally smaller and shorter than his opponents.There is a saying in America that applies to his career. It's not the size of the man in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the man. There are 313 million people in the U.S. At least 1 million of those people(or more)are fans of this great man. I don't know what he thinks about America or American people,but we want him to know that we love him as a pioneer of the sport,and as a gentle beast. He has always gave us great inspiration and I always find myself pulling out my old Pride VHS casettes to re-live those great battles. Communication between Ukraine and U.S. is difficult and it's hard to find any of his interviews in English translation. Please Tanya! Can you try to get this English subtitles? America loves Igor! I hope he knows how much he is respected here. We need to hear his words.

Not only form the USA; but he has fans all round the World, here from Germany and Turkey. I know him since about 2000 during the Pride openweight grand prix and had to buy a copy (casette) from someone from the internet to see the event as quickly as possible. Back then DSL was still new and very expensive and evn with that to download or even upload a video with that length wouldve taken hours. But in late 2000 i finally got DSL and was able to download single fights and full events (even if it took hours) and one day i ranmdly downloaded a fight from someone called Fedor Emelianeko. He waas still in Rings and from then on i followed his career and he really became my Idol togetehr with Igor. He and Fedor are my two favourite fighters since years and definitely forever.
