Hi Conrad. What can I say " Amazingly Beautiful", that cave was breathtaking. How can you go down so many levels and into different holes and remember your way back out. Have you ever struggled to find an entrance ? Those caves have so many stories that could be told. Thank you for keeping Malta tidy , and also wearing gloves to keep you safe when picking up people's rubbish , so everyone can enjoy your beautiful country. Thank you for all your hard and exciting efforts to keep us entertained. You took my breath away at some of the tight gaps you went down. Stay safe 🇬🇧👍
Thanks for all the compliments Ann .. yes I struggle to do quite a few things but I do not air them ... but yes they are all part of this project ... which I am loving doing ... Exploring and Sharing our Malta .

Also know as Iburdan cave. Yesterday I was exploring the roman quarries near ghar barka & i stumbled across another smaller, yet taller cave, close to this.
Conrad, how do you do it?You must do an awful lot of research to be able to put yourself in such dangerous situations. How do you manage to find your way back to the entrance after tackling all the labyrinth of passages, just amazing.Thank you for taking risks to take us with you to this awesome underground world which we never knew it ever existed.Until your next adventurous vlog.SS🖐🏻🇲🇹
Somehow I always managed till now .. you have to have a good sense of orientation I guess ... and every now and then look back to take a picture memory of what view you should be searching for on your way back tipo ... sort of pinpoint some rock formation position or some other particilar object ... i never try to mark my way bt engraving anything or disturbing the environment I am exploring ... 🇲🇹🙏🏼

this is the most impressive cave i have ever seen in your vlog. well done Conrad. at 15:35 where did it lead outside you know?. looks like one person can get lost in this cave, since there are many passageways. be careful with any sulphur or whatever that yellow is. it can be dangerous from smelling or touching it. i was as exited and impressed as you are how big and how many different levels it has and good escape places and shelters.
I have an unusual fascination in the troglodyte churches of Malta, I’ve been to a nice one in the limits of naxxar called gebel pietru, it’s worth a visit!
No no they are man-cut in stone ... since they were used as Cave dwellings in the 4/5th Century A.D. and later also used as bombing shelters in the WW2 by some Rabat Families
I have an unusual fascination in troglodyte churches and catacombs, I’ve lately been to some nice catacombs in Salina just above Charlie’s inn in Salina

Quite a labyrinth, looks easy to get lost and not find your way out down the many levels. Keep safe.
You have to have a good sense of orientation nothing that difficult buddy
Interesting feature Conrad. Does this cave has another name as Ghar tal-Iburdan?
Amazing .... well done 👍

Conrad just out of curiosity is there a cave rescue emergency service in Malta nowadays.?
I think 112 can do the job ... Civil Protection I guess.
