I love this yarn is definitely softer. Do you use a 5.5 hook? I’ve been using a 5 with it but when I follow patterns, my project ends up too big. I think I love this yarn is thicker than big twist 🧐

Back when I did popups I felt so much burnout! I'd want to crochet, but I think crocheting for others and selling my stuff is what burnt me out, so I stopped and now I just create for myself, my friends, and family! I've been sooo motivated to crochet.
I’m an artist who has been getting into crochet, but sometimes when artists can’t find motivation or creativity to draw we call it art block. So maybe that’s what the slump you were experiencing is, except for crochet rather than drawing! :)

Loops & Thread Soft Classic at Michaels is really good, too. It's just limited in colors.

I use a 4 mm or if that's too small a 4.5 works. My general rule is at least 1.5 sizes less for most yarns

That’s how my state does it too, but only it doesn’t go clockwise or counter it goes by first, second, third, and then fourth!
