As a resident of Happy Valley... I LOVE it here. You were right down the block from me a few times. Love Happy Valley Station for some good eats and a brewski. Scouter's Mountain is just down the road.... If you're familiar with Scouting at all you'll notice that most of the street names are scouting related: Tenderfoot Lane, Courteous Court, Cheerful Way, etc. It's awesome (especially since I'm a dad of 2 Eagle Scouts). Sunnyside Blvd is great as most everything you need is on it. Clackamas Mall is down the road. De Fuego is an amazing restaurant in the Monarch Hotel. And yes, it's only a 20-25 minute run to PDX which makes it super easy to commute in and out of the Portland Metro. And just 25 minutes into downtown Portland. Such a great town in SouthEast Portland.
Agreed. Moved here last June. Most ppl who are from Portland oregon natively were telling me when I relocated here that HV was the country and part of “Clackistan” and the east side sucks. Clearly that’s a old outdated viewpoint. So happy I didn’t listen to them. Prob best value for sure in the Portland metro area if you are looking for an affluent neighborhood. Has everything you need.
I moved to Happy Valley after watching one of your earlier videos on Happy Valley. It has been great for our family. Great schools, beautiful scenery, and close to the airport. Thanks!
Oh may be Mexican encroachments !! Can you confirm, I remember watching Marysville's big houses later dropped a plan after checking out and finding its full of Latinos !!
