These days most people hide their heart away or remorselessly murder it just to be able to go through the daily grind. You are putting yours out for multitudes to hear. Your larger-than-life heart expands and takes up all available space… in our hearts. A bit dangerous, I’m sure, but absolutely wonderful, for all those who, hearing you sing, can hear your singing heart! You are a paradox: lightweight and weighty, your heart pierces clouds of unknowing and unfeeling… you resurface from the depths of voluptuous anguish, or existential questioning, or rapturous joy with a child’s smile and a pirouette… and, as indeed is obvious, you delve into the past to make the PRESENT live… You treat your inner complexity with winning simplicity and prove music does not make the two mutually exclusive. A true artist forges a completely new dimension into art - into existence - and you are doing just that.
