  • For WAY too long I've kept my tools on a dusty shelf in my shop. It was time to get them up on a wall I wanted to try something a little different than a peg board or even the more advanced french cleat system.
I'd love to know how you organize your tools in the shop, be sure and leave a comment and let me know!

I'll be using all of those ideas!! Just one change... Hide everything in cabinets. Screw drivers on a slider that pulls out. It should be more space saving for my limited area. And my wife won't see how many tools I really have 😂😁

this is great, I'm finishing my workshop this coming week and this tool wall is just the kind of thing I'm going to build, thanks for the tips. I like the top shelf, though I think it would be good left open on the front so that it can be used to store different grades of sanding paper in each section. I like the idea of the light too, gonna do that for sure.

This is great Idea and much easier then french cleats!!! Such a simple idea and a great way to use some of those plywood scraps. Now I need to rip down my pegboard. Thanks for sharing this.

VERY inspiring!!! I am actively gathering ideas for my own tool wall and like how you added the light above, sticker section, and the contrasting colors with your logo centered. I appreciate your work and this video! Also enjoyed your presentation style so I subbed and look forward to checking out your other content. Thanks!

Could you inform me on what screws you used to put it into the wall? I am having trouble with that part

Yea I tried the French cleat system but I didn't like it. At the moment I have magnet strips. Which is good because you can attach most of my tools and have them in view. But I'm sure I will change it again
