In all fairness, the real HRE was even more bordergore than this. There were exclaves and tiny specs of land belonging to some distant crown everywhere.
I imagine any Holy Roman Emperor would be frustrated looking at a map of his empire, and any other rulers such as the Ottoman Padishah and the Russian Tsar would just vomit at the atrocious borders.
I was looking at the Principality of Orange and it was conquered in 1660, it took a long time to conquer that OPM, it must be interesting to play as Orange. France in one side and the Papal States around you. Its a shame I cant play this mod. Everytime I try to load it the game goes straight to vanilla. In MEIOU and Taxes the game does the same.
Camel9991 there should be 2 files: one that contains all content of the mod and the second that tells the game what that file is. check if the destination is correct. also be sure you have no conflicting mods active
Voltaire's Nightmare doesn't work on version 1.18 or 1.19 of EU4. You would need to set your patch back to 1.17.1 in order to play it, and disable the 'Rights of Man' DLC if you have it.
How interesting would it be if someone made this kind of map but for China? or for Russia? Or India? Or even the Middle East? That would be incredible.
if you have mare mostrum there is also a button to replay the games in observer mode at a much faster speed, so you can have a smaller recording. You still have to play through the whole game though

Try to rewrite the location of the file that should be read. Name of the file and the location which is set should be identical. Use Notepad++.
