I think it says on his CWACOM Fandom Wiki page that even though he was popular for the Mascot gig he's been doing since He could even/ever had began to walk,he clearly had fair-weather friends in two Mascot-Jock types because of his so-called Fame and essentially used it to mock Flint (and Sam as well,back when she still lived there in Swallow Falls respectfully here, speaking) from time to time here,honestly; I mean, having to be essentially a brand Mascot from a VERY young age like would definitely get to you like that honestly, I'm hoping.. (Hell,they had an ENTIRE episode that involved something akin to Brent finding out that he COULDN'T be the Cannery's Mascot anymore-Due to Age,not Essentially what he later went through in the first movie proper respectfully.. though,in retrospect here,The Baby Brent Canning factory _SHOULD'VE at least tried to age up Baby Brent with the ACTUAL Person responsible for being their brand representative,_ or at _LEAST had Brent be a bit more humble_ about his family's Cannery operations once he got older,but that's besides the point here honestly-and they tried to find a new, Quote- *"Spokesbaby"* to take his place as Mascot respectfully..Though my point still stands-Keep Brent as at least a brand Rep,but still change up the baby every few or so years here also,honestly AND he has to get Flint and Sam to help,since he blamed them here, somewhat honestly...)
