What you should also understand is that shift peeking/ crouch peeking are things you are going to see at Radiant. This video explains why usually these things are not going to work at a low level because it does not give you an advantage BUT when you play against Immortals/Radiants and you crouch peek, you will probably win that fight only because they don't expect you to. Or an insanely slow peek (in some situations) might be even better than a fast peek. You surprise people like that. I think the element of surprise is what makes these things work, even the fast peek is an element of surprise, something that very good players are very aware of which means eventually you will reach a level were people are going to expect only fast peeks, and your peeks are not going to be as efficient. Actually they will position themselves in some angles were your fast peeks are going to work in their favor. Which is why sometimes a slow peek/crouch peek can do the job. If you watch a pro valorant match, you will see a lot of fast/slow peeks in the same match. You will wonder each time " is he going to swing fast or slow?" and you will never know. A pro player is aware that it can be both.
for the ones who want to stop crouching, just bind your crouch key to your knife, play some dm's and every time that u try to crouch u will be punished for holding the knife :)

Crouch peek is a thing tho. It works. Depends on the situation but it can sure work.

I’m about 2 weeks into valorant and I keep watching videos like these because I’m silver 1 but I keep dying to other players without ever knowing what I am doing wrong. This type of content is super helpful but is there some sort of video or checklist newer players should try and remember when playing to mitigate mistakes or common issues.
Players keep telling me that I’m really good for only two weeks into the game but it *really* does not feel like it.

So should i unbind crouch? I feel like i'm getting mostly one tapped because of that but at the same time it helps me a lot in middle range fights
Yea you should I’m only plat rn and no one crouch’s in my games the only time I crouch is too control spray but it’s also good to catch your opponent off guard
Don't completely unbind it, if it's really that much of an issue then try re-binding it to some other key. There are situations where you do need to crouch.
Crouching is still useful if you have a shorty, bucky, or maybe a judge (because it makes the spread smaller for shotguns), but other than that, the general rule is don't crouch.

Doesn't also peak advantage and stuff play in with fps cause often I perfect peak just get tapped playing with my average 50 fps which often randomly drop to fucking 12 or stu

This is honestly a pretty common occurrence in gold+ lobbies people start to hold wide instead of close expecting people to do these types of peaks rather than shift peak
