- While in Moab we rented a Kawasaki KRX 1000 for a day to ride and explore the 7 Mile Rim trail. What a blast that was! On day one we made it to the Uranium Arch, and Determination Towers. Both offering breathtaking views everywhere you look.
I will have a second video of day two of our ride also.
The camera I'm using that's mounted is the GoPro Hero 8. amzn.to/3lxKGbW
Handheld is the Hero 7. amzn.to/33RWVdm

Thank you for sharing
I'll never see that in person, but I appreciate riding with y'all. 😊💖
You. Guys are awesome!!! You are genuine and a lot of fun to watch!!! I hope the people appreciate the time and effort you spend to put these videos together because I sure do it’s a lot of effort!!! And how much did it cost to rent that for 24 hours
I never understood what people saw in off-road riding . . . now I get it! Thanks and well done!
Eenie meenie chili beanie, the spirits are about to speak. There will be a side by side in the Booth family sooner than later.
The two large sandstone buttes you are looking at are monitor and merrimac. Named after the two Civil War Ironside naval ships. Determination Towers are still along way off on the return trail heading back to the North and after you head out west and do the Tippy Hill section of Seven Mile Rim.
The roots of civilization right there.
Amazing that you got to see the sights with so few other people - must have been during the middle of the week. Glad you are enjoying it.
Adams next fabrication project: new receiver hitch for tandem side-by-side trailer hauling! The BigGER Haul 2021!!
Again, love and respect from Colorado wine country.
Awesome run. Things I used to do 40 years ago. I just love watching you two have fun.
That was some really awesome scenery there. I loved how the rock faces and mountains just stood out in all that tundraesque looking scenery. I had to rewind that one part at 21:15 cause that location the camera was pointed towards looked at first glance like a ruined ancient fortress. Really cool how the imagination can pick things out of these rock formations.
That's spectacular.. Loved the views of the two giants!
That Kawasaki is one impressive vehicle!
Wow, what an amazing ride, stunning. Watching the vastness of it all like another planet made me think of the difference between the finite, precise and meticulous work you do as a machinist on very detailed work compared to the hugeness of this remote landscape. Thank you so much for posting these videos.
Gorgeous countryside.
Thank You from germany, to take out and see thru your eyes.. wonderful
We were in Moab/Arches NP last year... and Yes it's an off roaders delight! Fantastic views and the rental guys are making a fortune!!
Fantastic guys. I was seeing those shadows getting long and wondering if you were going to make it back in daylight. LOLLooks like fun.
Beautiful scenery and looked like a lot of fun!
Absolutely amazing!!!
I must say the stabilization on the GoPro is pretty impressive.
I just bought the Hero 8 Black a couple months ago. It still amazes me how cool the stabilization is.
Nice riding! I’ve done this sort of thing a few times with snow machines in Colorado. When everything is white it is a little harder to see the danger LOL. That first trail up the ridge was epic!
Our favorite place to ride! Enjoy your videos 😎
That was great! Thanks guys!!
Great video. Now you have some idea what riding the white rim is like. If you have time you should drive UT 279 along the north side of the Colorado river. It is about 20 miles of paved road that starts just north of Moab and follows the Colorado to the Potash mine and the entrance to Canyon lands park. Another ride that is awesome is UT 128. It starts just after you cross the bridge over the Colorado river just before Moab and follows the river up stream.
yeah, MOAB's a BIG Playground :) Plus so much Beauty
What a ride! By the way, I habe small clip of our volcano erupting fresh yesterday. Teasing you!
WOW ! COOL ! Thank you.
Sure I know where we are , we're right here! Looks like fun ! Should do another camera w/o stabilization at same time !
This one had me a little nervous! Beautiful scenery but I was real nervous 😮
Video stab on your cam works like a charm. Thank you...
Yes it works extremely well mounted. It really doesn't show how bumpy the ride was.
Did the rental place send you out there without a map? Holy cow you guys were lost! Never even got close to 7 Mile Rim, or the Determination Towers. lol If you had stayed on the trail and not started following the signs to Uranium Arch, you would have driven along the rim trail. You still could have gotten down to the arch. You also would have had to drive between the Monitor and Merrimac to get to the Determination Towers. You missed all the highlights of 7 Mile Rim trail, except for Uranium Arch.
We enjoyed every minute of the ride, no matter what trails we were on. We'll be going again later this year and riding the same areas so I should have a little better feel for the trail system next time.
@@AbomAdventures It's an awesome place for sure. We get out there at least once a year. Heading back out in October this year.
Awesome! How much was the rental for the day?

@@cpl0815 it is insane, the price to buy them is even more insane. It would be better just to build one up from an old jeep or something like that.
@@cpl0815 $380 for 24hrs on a machine that costs over $20k new I don't think is too terrible. Thats a LOT of machine you're renting out.
@@cpl0815 I take it you have not had to maintained one of these machines. LOL. Parts prices are as ridiculous as the prices of the machines. I been in this sport for about 9 years driving a Polaris "piece of crap". It is a constant struggle to keep these things running. I'll put it this way I would not rent mine out to a stranger or to someone who had never been in one before. Most of these bonehead kids watch RUclips and get the idea that if you are not breaking something or jumping something you're not having fun.
Just take the Ram!
The Ram is for daily driving & hauling. It's not am off-road toy to tear up.
Boy guys!! ya can't misplace that green machine eh!!!
I didn't see determination towers, but I did see the monitor and merrimac buttes and the big rock flat in between
They’re right there where we parked, huge red rocks to each side of us.
Every time you go out on the trails I hope you have GPS available on your phone. Easy to get twisted around. Be careful.
GPS is great, but it's even better to know how to read a map and keep them on you, like I did. Phones and GPS devises can fail. If we do this regularly I'd own a dedicated GPS unit.
I am an older gentleman. Actually I much prefer a map and a compass. No batteries required.
Was your camera on some kind of gimbal? It’s very smooth.
Rigid mounted. It’s the Hero 8 with built in stabilization.
Wow that’s impressive. I live about 6 hours from there in Colorado. I’ve been watching your trip. I have a 2014 4 seat RZR and absolutely need to get out to Moab.
Wow! Wish I lived that close! Rent you a cabin at the RV parks and go ride! So many places to go. Lots of maps available also.
I have a toy hauler and camp right there like you. I just recently was able to bring my RZR home to Colorado from San Diego where I grew up so I absolutely will after winter.
Love your videos but please let me down easier at the end I was loving it and boom over😥
We rolled in to the camp, day over! LOL
are you allowed to mtb on these trails or is it strictly quads and side by sides?
MTB is on full send mode in Moab. I live about 1-1/2 hours away. Side note: google Palisade Plunge, about 1/2 mile from me!!
If your talking Mountain bike, then yea. So many opportunities for bikes there

I wish I had a love like that...
This reminded my of GTA V....
