I lost so much respect for an old friend of mine after his wife cheated on him Rather than take her to the cleaners, he simply said, "I didn't love her enough!" So she suggested that he have an affair of his own to "balance ⚖️ it out" So she basically manipulated and pressured him into a poly relationship and has a new boyfriend while she's still married I'm considered an asshole simply for calling out her bullshit and saying why don't they just divorce I haven't talked to them in a year and a half
@@CreightonChaney-io4xv Don't feel bad for your decision. Some people prefer to stay in their comfort zone, even if it's an emotionally toxic, harmful environment. Let him learn with his actions [or lack of].
Once she asks for an open relationship…tell her nothing and leave. It is not a hard decision. The easiest decision you will ever make because it is already over
Why do so many people say, "axe" instead of ask? If it was a speech impediment, no problem, they get a pass. I've known people that I know for a fact that they could say "s" properly and did, yet still said, "axe." Why? It doesn't sound smart at all. Though it may not be true, it makes people seem ignorant, purposefully.
Thank you for your insight! The use of "axe" instead of "ask" has historical roots in English and isn’t about intelligence or ignorance. It’s been part of some dialects for centuries and is still used in certain communities today. Language can vary a lot depending on culture and history. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts!
@SigmaMale1337 I agree for the most part but the people I was reffering to do not do it for any historical reasons or to honor their ancestors. I've asked many of these people, some of which were friends and they all said some variation of, "I don't know, it's just how my friends said it."
So marriage is no longer exclusive and can end at any time for any or no reason? So what's the point or benefit of marriage? If we're not going to be monogamous and divorce can end the marriage for no reason, then marriage has no more permanence or significance than a normal relationship. Marriage is dying because everything that makes it more significant than a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship is being stripped away.
Anybody who claims they want an open relationship there’s no such thing as an open relationship it’s just an excuse for behaving badly

If she says open marriage, she’s has already cheated with somebody guys!
Not jumped the gun. Self-respect, man.
Open marriage is a total disrespect to your significant other.
Open relationship, sure. I'll open the door and you can find another relationship.

In other words, no matter which relationship, she's a habitual offender

How weak are you. Once she said open leave. There's nothing else to talk about. Leave her and don't worry about it.
Fellas, as soon as you opened your mouth and said open marriage the relationship is already doomed! Just walk away with some dignity and self respect
He's gotta be a 666 alpha, pay for everything AND agree to let me be disloyal. Gfy.
Yep, she’s already picked out a guy. Women don’t know what contentment is, they need drama.
If anyone I ever loved and they were with me and I suggested open relationship or what not they would be in the single relationship

In my humble opinion, polyamorous relationships work, until they don't. There will always be someone who is jealous or feels left out.
