Yep, this is exactly me. I'm 41, and can't move abroad to to financial restrains and having rescue animals, but I have wanted to do so my whole life. I always knew I never wanted human children. Never got along with my family and extended family, and totally moved away from them from about age 30ish on. My mother, while we are not genuinely close at all, is the only one I keep contact with, and somewhat regularly, the only one I had any connection to. But she was quite emotionally not available. I was adopted as a baby, so never got even breast milk, and by the time I found my birth mother she had died. I always seek out little isolated areas to myself, wherever I am. I've got a 12th house gemini moon. I grew up with an emotionally distant alcoholic mother who now, incidentally, has developed Alzheimer's disease. everything you're saying is 100% accurate. having your moon in the 12th house is definitely a tricky placement, but the good news is that therapy and meditation help with its drawbacks IMMENSELY. Also, the need for privacy, quiet, isolation, etc. is totally on the money. the only thing is that my north node lies in my 10th house, so I feel like I'm constantly being pulled out of my quiet little 12th house comfort zone! :(

Me and my mom is good. We have natural bickering sometimes more than normal. My mom is private but she’s easily manipulated by any/everything. Back stabbing when she can’t get her way.. all about money. She’s also a cancer but she kept me in the house (no freedom or way to express/learn myself) she was about her boys .. they did no wrong and when it came to us girls it was always us getting into trouble. She really didn’t give me that nourishment that as a child you need.. she didn’t really take care of my health as a child and left it up up to me as an adult to take care of. Never apologized for her wrongdoing.. it’s was and still is a lot of issues between us.. she married a hella judge mental guy (she’s a cancer and he’s a Sagittarius) .. I’ll just say allow her to develop self expressions.. if she wants to sing, let her sing take her to vocal lesions.. let her know how proud you are even if she fails.. be there for her every step, talk to her about any/everything. Don’t neglect her, be her cheerleader. Learn what she’s into and what she wants to do and act on it. If she’s into acting, put her in classes. If she’s into writing, but her books, take her to book fairs and things like that. you definitely called me out about wanting to be a savior for my spouse😭😭😭😭 ughh i can’t help it. especially with my 12th house moon being pisces and having scorpio venus and mars in the 8th house! yes i’m very private and imagine running away all the time. whenever there’s a chance to go to foreign lands, i will say yes in a heartbeat. i make it kinda like a spiritual retreat. it’s really nice :). my mother has some trauma and so does our own family. it’s hard to connect with my mothers feelings, but sometimes i feel like i have the power to spiritually heal her too. but it’s very hard to access my mom in that way because she has a lot of pain. my future career will be secluded, i already planned it :).

Problem is, when I spend a lot of time alone yes, I feel "quiet" and protected, but I also feel miserable, depressed, lonely, I get paranoid, 'cause I subconsciously know that that's not the path I should follow. I love having my space, but do I love spending SO MUCH TIME alone? No, I'm just afraid of the world, of reality, so I use my imagination, my spirituality not to seek a higher self and meaning in life, but to escape from life itself. The fact that my Uranus but especially my Neptune are in the 6th house doesn't help at all. In fact I've been suffering from depression for more than a decade now, probably developed an avoidant personality disorder. And even tho I'm fully aware of how my mind works, even tho I have an 11th house Mars and a 5th house Pluto that make me wanna do things, achieve goals, go into the world and express myself, I still don't do it 'cause of the excessive fear of being rejected and hurt. I do not feel lack of nourishment of mother's love, but her behaviour is surely kind of practical, there is low emotional outburst of love but if I take a moment I can feel that she cares for me much more than it seems. The thing of fun is that I cherish this distant love. 😄

Both parents alcoholics though my mom wasnt early on she was unhappy depressed my parents fought everyday and I experienced alot of unfair punishments and orders, but odd thing is no matter how hard it was , I "embraced the suffering" gladly in spite of being meant to weaken I was empowered and determined. I have venus and mercury, and the moon in the 12th house like jk rowling, but in virgo, plus the sun is there too. Gosh... im studying molecular biology with an interest in plants, but want a cannabis plantation when i have contributed to the research for it’s therapeutic usage, a business, a sanctuary for farmed animals, and to write a book some day when i feel like what i have to say is purposefull. I’m all over the place. But I know where i’m going now, people seem to think i am crazy when i open up about it. I usually only say; i want to study and grow weed, and live in the country. I’m 28 so when you said that i was like yup. This year has been so revelatory for me. I have never known my way and it has been such a weird journey, throwing myself in all directions from family business in real estate, to being a at home helper for old people, to trying to find my path in college for half a semester and failing, then pushing through science full time without any directions, to now being a 4.0 students in molecular biology, that wouldnt be satisfactory for me if didnt finally get that i can mix my passions together and the life i picture for myself makes so much sens with my path, even if i am the only one, apart from my partner, that can see it... gosh my 20s are so unstable in and out, but it all makes so much sens now. Especially with having pluto in 1st, rahu in 4th and ketu ( with jupiter) in 10th.... which i dont totally get yet but i think there is something there. My third is Sat, ura, nept, again so much sens. Having mars in 8th ... dont understand really but im going to study more and find answers to clarify some stuff. Does anyone know how to get in touch with your own emotions ? I came to realize that all these years maybe i've never felt anything at all, for anyone. Glad to hear that this wasn't too negative. Every interpretation I've read of this placement has been negative. As far as dating, yeah I've dated emotionally disturbed men but I would like that to change, hope my future husband won't be this way-lol. Yep, this is exactly me. I'm 41, and can't move abroad to to financial restrains and having rescue animals, but I have wanted to do so my whole life. I always knew I never wanted human children. Never got along with my family and extended family, and totally moved away from them from about age 30ish on. My mother, while we are not genuinely close at all, is the only one I keep contact with, and somewhat regularly, the only one I had any connection to. But she was quite emotionally not available. I was adopted as a baby, so never got even breast milk, and by the time I found my birth mother she had died. I always seek out little isolated areas to myself, wherever I am. She just got a new job where she’s going to be paid a good amount for her efforts, me and her speak everyday. She’s much healthier now mentally. She’s done a lot of work on herself and through that it’s helped our relationship, especially as I entered young adulthood

Problem is, when I spend a lot of time alone yes, I feel "quiet" and protected, but I also feel miserable, depressed, lonely, I get paranoid, 'cause I subconsciously know that that's not the path I should follow. I love having my space, but do I love spending SO MUCH TIME alone? No, I'm just afraid of the world, of reality, so I use my imagination, my spirituality not to seek a higher self and meaning in life, but to escape from life itself. The fact that my Uranus but especially my Neptune are in the 6th house doesn't help at all. In fact I've been suffering from depression for more than a decade now, probably developed an avoidant personality disorder. And even tho I'm fully aware of how my mind works, even tho I have an 11th house Mars and a 5th house Pluto that make me wanna do things, achieve goals, go into the world and express myself, I still don't do it 'cause of the excessive fear of being rejected and hurt. Basically I'm literally not living due to self-made delusions and a distorted vision of myself (Chiron in Leo in the 1st house doesn't help) and of my surroundings. I do not feel lack of nourishment of mother's love, but her behaviour is surely kind of practical, there is low emotional outburst of love but if I take a moment I can feel that she cares for me much more than it seems. The thing of fun is that I cherish this distant love. 😄

I have venus and mercury, and the moon in the 12th house like jk rowling, but in virgo, plus the sun is there too. Gosh... im studying molecular biology with an interest in plants, but want a cannabis plantation when i have contributed to the research for it’s therapeutic usage, a business, a sanctuary for farmed animals, and to write a book some day when i feel like what i have to say is purposefull. I’m all over the place. But I know where i’m going now, people seem to think i am crazy when i open up about it. I usually only say; i want to study and grow weed, and live in the country. I’m 28 so when you said that i was like yup. This year has been so revelatory for me. I have never known my way and it has been such a weird journey, throwing myself in all directions from family business in real estate, to being a at home helper for old people, to trying to find my path in college for half a semester and failing, then pushing through science full time without any directions, to now being a 4.0 students in molecular biology, that wouldnt be satisfactory for me if didnt finally get that i can mix my passions together and the life i picture for myself makes so much sens with my path, even if i am the only one, apart from my partner, that can see it... gosh my 20s are so unstable in and out, but it all makes so much sens now. Most this rings true for me. Moon in Aries 12th house early degree. However I was close to my mother and she was very loving and nurturing. She was my rock because my father was an alcoholic and not involved in my life. I find it hard to express what I feel. I’m trying to write my memoirs and I’ve started and stopped so many times thinking it comes across cheesy and cliché. I left my second marriage after meeting and falling in love with a man in another country. I spent 5 years with him until he passed away. Tragic in love! This is fascinating and so true. I have my moon in the 12th house in Cancer, Leo ascendant conjunct Mars, and Mercury and Venus conjunct in Scorpio in the 4th. I have mother but she treats me as if i am her enemy. My mind and my mothers mind is exact opposite. What i do is always good for her but what she does for me is mostly bad for me. I have moon in 12 house. So even if you had mom you would be in same position as me.

My moon is in the 12th isolation is something I can do in spades. In my private life I can go a lot longer. I have at least one urge per year to travel internally and domestically every 5-8 months. Vedic and western are two different systems. If you are a Gemini rising in western then you are most likely a Taurus rising in Vedic/sidereal

I work jobs that I hate and then come home and draw, paint, play guitar, bass, piano, compose symphonic music even though learning music theory has always been boring and tedious so I avoided it and do everything very intuitively. Does anyone know how to get in touch with your own emotions ? I came to realize that all these years maybe i've never felt anything at all, for anyone. I only feel everyone else's emotions and they are so strong that i assume they are mine. The emotions are draining me and i reflect them as they are really mine.This is such a tragedy, as I believe i've never felt anything, never loved. Same her, Aries moon in house 12 with aries rising, an utter contradiction and at war with myself! Moon conjunction ascendant means everyone can see what I am feeling too, I want to hide my emotions but can’t and due to so much aries energy with also moon opposite Pluto eventually I explode like a nuclear bomb, a very very difficult placement 😔. It is getting better as I get older but that’s probably due in part to the fact that I isolate myself from everyone more every year and have moved away from everyone that is related to me! Mars conjunction Jupiter in house 5 so I was guaranteed children even when I didn’t want them (I cried through my entire first pregnancy!) but love my daughters to death now and am very grateful that fate worked against my impulses!
Glad to hear that this wasn't too negative. Every interpretation I've read of this placement has been negative. As far as dating, yeah I've dated emotionally disturbed men but I would like that to change, hope my future husband won't be this way-lol. Sometimes with this placement it's easy to succumb to agoraphobia. The world seems harsh and indifferent. I have to fight the tendency to withdraw. Yes, mother was emotionally withholding. Not sure if she was capable of doing otherwise.
