  • Can’t say enough about this fly, it is an absolute go to anytime of the year, never seems to disappoint! This olive is also my favourite colour for it! Try it you’ll be happy you did!

    I love the fact you always say a super simple tie. Being I’ve only tied about 10 flies, none are really simple. But if I’m not watching your videos while tying, I’m watching and learning techniques

    Love this pattern. Had some incredible days with it this summer up on the plateau. I tie it just like you here. Usually in 12 as well. Marvelous! Thanks.

    I found using red mono and lighter to ball up each side makes realistic eyes like the damsel has

      Typically just suspend it under an indicator or slow retrieve on a slow sink. ;)
