Please can this Irishman say how wonderful this music is and how fantastic it is to see everyone joining in? It’s just like Ireland. Thanks for posting this. Also Chartwell Dutiro died in Devon surrounded by three of his nine children on 22 September 2019. A week prior to his death he was awarded an Honorary PhD from Bath Spa University. His dissertation was entitled 'The Power of the Voices of the Ancestors: Mbira Music of Zimbabwe'. Chartwell played Mbira with Thomas decades ago and he was my friend in arms when it comes to music of the ancestors.
Sad to hear of the passing of another brother Seamus. Thank you for sharing. I bet you gave him a great send off.
Just thinking that this song was released in 1991 when i was around 2 years, it makes me super nostalgic. Growing up in Zimbabwe listening and watching this legend on TV, i had never imagined sitting down with this legend in America one day, thank you Miami University for making it happen on January 18, 2023. His music takes my soul back to my motherland i miss

have spend time with mudhara what i see as the problem they all not in America most of the band is here and a few in america.so mudhara always comes over here a few days before the shows and its hard to do all them other shows.and dont forget mapromoter echibhoyi that dont want to spend extra for anything.i think soon we will see the best of mukanya.
