few days ago I bought 2015 S550 with 80K miles for $29.000 , one owner pretty much, older retired couple , diamond white , absolutely fantastic , every time I sit in it , it’s an experience … btw I’m in US , and luxury cars depreciate tremendously over here , thank God 😊
Small tip: Buy models made after 3/2015. Models made before 3/2015 have this silicon-based coating on cylinder walls which get scuffed very quickly. Most pre-2015 models have scored cylinder walls without owners even knowing.
I used to drive the w221 for a year and then changed to this w222 and to be honest, the ride quality and the feeling was the exact same. The w222 had a nicer interiour and bigger screen and some futures. But the ride quality was 1:1
Wonderful to watch! I have a great old 2006 W211 E350 AG. What will I buy when I replace it? So many MB models now run sub-2 liter hyena-like, overstressed double turbocharged engines. I prefer the totally relaxed effortless nature of a un-boosted ‘normal’, large V6 or V8…
Can be expensive.. but in general if the engine/gearbox is solid and no issues with the suspension then it should be fine i think. In really depends on the car itself - how it has been maintained etc.
@@SilverhillDrives I hope they will go down a little. I checked and you can find a nice S500 for around 35k if you give it a time. I would love to replace my current 2013 A6 biturbo with this one in about a year, since I love the floaty ride and high torque. Im thinking about A8 2013+ with 4.2TDi aswell but I just love the 2013+ Sclass interiors.

Depreciation is over already mostly for the 40k version - the next 2-3 years it should hold not corss the 30k line i think
