  • June 1st, 2015 How does Amrit Yoga Work. Yogi Amrit Desai teaches about returning our energy to the source instead of wasting it in the mind. Amrit Yoga is the Yoga of Consciousness
    -------------------------
Yogi Shri Amritji is a modern master of the ancient mysteries. He is the original carrier of the Lakulish-Kripalu Shaktipat Lineage to the West. This ancient lineage ignited the fire that began the initial renaissance of the inner dimension of Yoga in the 20th century.
The uniqueness of his contribution to the world of yoga comes from his own spiritual awakening in 1970, his direct experience of the mystic union of consciousness and energy (Shiva and Shakti). This revealed to him the hidden mysteries hidden in the body.
He is the founder and creator of I AM Yoga®, a tangible method of practice that makes the mystic teachings accessible and practical, leading to a deep experience of the spiritual dimension through the synthesis of body, mind, heart and Soul. It opens the door to ultimate reality of Self-discovery, the Source of Love and compassion that is inborn within every human Being.

Hey I have a question, it may be off topic but I just started all the 8 limbs and I’m spending about 4 hours a day on it- pranayama, asanas, lots of reading and videos etc and some days I am just exhausted. I like all of it, I do get kind of obsessed. Getting lots of bliss and feel better than ever in my life, but then I crash. Any suggestions?

But you have just discovered the problem! Read your comment you will understand it at once. I mean you got obsessed and it's not a good thing. Just calm down yoursef take your time it's all you have to do. Enjoy your self relax your self with this marvellous doctrine but not OBSESSE YOURSELF with it! It's not the point to become obsesse with yoga it's to understand it in a very profound way and calm down yourself in a very state of consciousness. To perform in an obsessive way yoga is a contradiction isn't? It's a merely western point of view totally right. Just my opinion. I am western person I practice 30 minutes for day yoga and for me it's enough . It's works.
