I know this may sound overly dramatic but you are a life savor. I banged my head against the keyboard reading the official documentation to download mods manually for hours and had zero success. And then here comes a 2 minute long youtube video that solved it in 10 mins tops. Thanks again!
Yo when i launch lethal Company trough wine it loads normally then i click lan and host when i loads i hear only sound and my screen is black. I also can see my stamina and when i go to online i cant host
If I want to play without mods, just the normal game, does it only work by activating compatibility or do I need to do another process? thanks for the video
r2modman has an option to launch vanilla, or launch vanilla. You can also just launch from Steam for vanilla as well. You still need proton compatibility if you want to play on Linux, since they didn't ship a Linux version (even though its an option in Unity).
I downloaded the .deb package and added the no sandbox command to the properties setting on the command section. Guide wasn't straight forward to me so I hope this comment makes it easy for some people that got confused. .deb is for ubuntu based systems btw! TY LGC
I get an error it says “lethal company compatibility data does not exist in steams specified location failed to find directory” it says the suggestion is that I did not start the game but I did
@@kingocheeto8404 I figured out that issue download lethal company on internal drive but I still can’t get anything to work everything runs but no mods work
I found a way to fix this, but i dunno if i can explain it good. The “compatibility data” might be installed on the ssd, and not your sd card, like how it was for me. I would assume thats why this is occurring. So what you want to do is go to the steamapps folder on the internal drive, then compatdata, and look for the folder named 1966720. To then copy the location of the folder, and go back to your sd card steamapps folder, or wherever it is. To double check, click the start modded button to see where its trying to go. Once you did, create a link to the folder by pasting the folder location from earlier in the compatdata folder, and click launch modded. And it will work.
When I run the game vanilla through steam, it works fine. When I try to launch through r2modman, I get an error telling me that "Steam requires user namespaces to be enabled". My understanding is that user namespaces ARE enabled by default in all modern Ubuntu versions. Anyone have any ideas?
Exactly what I needed to avoid getting roasted once more by my Windows friends for taking too long to join lol, thank you!

My game not launching at fullscreen and idk why,can you help me?
Flawless
I've did this but whenever i try to connect to my friends the game crashes. any help? Linux Mint
If there are any missing assets the games wont connect. So they need to have the same mods as you and vice versa i believe

Did you install Steam via Flatpak?
@@linuxgamecast No I just installed the deb version
all of a sudden mods just dont work. Yes, all of my mods are up to date. I click start modded too. Ideas?
When I add it as a steam game and run it, it doesn’t start
Can i use the modmanger on mac i need one please
Everything works except adding it to steam library, it's there, i also added no sandbox, but when i click play it doesn'l launch
Ditto, I have to launch it from console every time because the --no-sandbox doesn't work on steam.
@@braxtonbutcher61 Same. I even tried adding a shell script to steam but that doesnt work either.
@@nemetbar5718 did you ever find a solution?
I love you

this is the technique to use for the steam deck
AppImages are cool like that. They work on everything.
