      It was NEVER about his talent. That's undeniable. It was the fact that he decided to turn into a runner in his later career, and stopped giving these kind of performances. probably lost a couple fights along the way that we're handed to him (Castillo 1, De LaHoya, which is own father says he lost). This version of Mayweather however was awesome to watch! I respect him

      @@drby0788 Anyone that thinks Mayweather lost ODLH is delusional, that is ridiculous and his father and him hated one another at the time, the first Castillo bout is debatable. Also saying Mayweather ran is also a ridiculous take as well, because you cant run, land at a higher percentage and throw more punches than your opponent its called defense boxing is not rock'em sock'em robots. Boxing is the art of hitting and not getting hit, and if you have no skill in cutting off the ring why would a fighter not use that against you??

    Fighter's like Chop Chop are vital to boxing. These days the casuals want every fighter to be undefeated, when the fact is that 99% of fighters in the HISTORY of combat sports have multiple losses on their record. Emanuel Augustus had 16 losses before he fought Floyd, and he said he was one of his toughest fights. Fighters need to fight.

      Chop Chop caught him with a good shot. But what’s even more impressive, is Floyd’s ability to recover. Even tho Chop Chop had him hurt he still was hesitant to let his hands go to try and go for the finish. Floyd ropa doped him for a minute until he regained his senses. Sugar Shane and Zab Judah also fell victim to Floyd’s ability to recover from a power shot. A testament to Floyd’s will to win and overcome adversity.

    The way he caught Corley going backwards with the left up top and the right to the body was punishing, he was not safe wherever he moved.

    Floyd switched southpaw a lot in this fight and he looked good doing it. Almost reminded me of Marvin Marvelous Hagler.

    Mayweather altered his style because his hands were getting hurt too much. Pretty Boy Floyd was a monster, only person that neutralized him in that time was Castillo and he couldn''t get the job done. Master of adjustments.

      @LanceG007 6 месяцев назад

      Castillo didn’t neutralize him at all.The second fight when he was healthy was a boxing lesson and even in the first fight he loss the first five rounds easily and that was Floyd’s first fight at the weight class

    It's funny how people say it's a KO when Floyd gets a slip but nobody is talking about Corley's slip for so many times. This match is interesting to watch, but Floyd makes the right decision to prioritise his wealth & health & sustainability. He has the power & speed & precision, but he knows that can't eliminate the odds and he can't stay in such condition forever, so he decided to play elite defense all 12 rounds.

    Mayweather is a G.R.E.A.T.💯 The very fact he got CLOCKED⏰️🔥with crazy counter in round 3. Out on his feet yet "Composed" enough to still remain in the "Eye of the Storm" is a rare attribute. And in my book came back and won that round! THEN THREW his hands up in excitement not embarrassement🐐
    He showed a granite CHIN again in the Mosley fight! Taking ✌🏿BOMBS💯😮. TBE
