I can't even imagine just how insane the lines are going to be on opening week. And for that matter, it it will effect the lines of the other coasters at all.
It has a virtual queue and no standby, so once all the spots fill up (which is usually right after opening) no one else will be allowed to get on.
@Jeff C Also (Individual) Lightning Lane will be offered when there is still a Virtual queue system. Similar as to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
The virtual queues are the stupidest crap.
@@Nonfiction79 they are genius, why have lines when they can have you do other things? hard to spend money standing in lines all day.
And you have to pay extra money for the virtual queues.
Hanging out with Magic Kingdom CPs (college program employees) at the park itself. I love it! That takes me back. Casey's Corner CP from 2004!
In the Shanghai version, instead of lockers, they had a cast member roll over essentially a laundry cart for your loose articles where it was then waiting for you upon exit (similar to what they do on Oziris). Rode four times when I was there in 2019, the longest wait ironically being ten minutes the one time I did Fast Pass instead of Single Rider. Didn't see a preshow there, but I'm not sure if that's just because I didn't try Standby.
Shanghai had lockers at the rides entrance but it was so much of a dissatisfier that they stopped using them, hence why in Florida they put them at merge.
the Shanghai one also had a little compartment on the bike between the handles for your phone and wallet which I'm not sure if it carried over to the MK version
@@brandnewties The little compartments in the vehicle are on MK's as well.
Thanks!
I liked your first reactions to this ride very wonderful indeed!😁👍
This actually looks really cool, the launch and elements but mainly the cool effects, it doesn't need to be the most intense.
That station lighting is unreal!!!!
It looks like the ramp centerline is lined up with the ceiling centerline. :)
I only rode Shanghi with a FastPass so the pre-show will be brand new for me!
And yes, yes! Now they can bring back og Test Track.
I was there Christmas Eve and we had to be evacuated from the people mover. We got stuck in space mountain and had to leave the same route you walked down to Tron. They made us put our phones away because it was a “Restricted” area.

Here is the video from inside space mountain.
I actually got to meet the man in charge of the construction! In late 2020 there was a BBQ in my city's park. (This was after the pandemic) I came across a couple who were sitting outside the back of an RV. He and his wife were taking a vacation due to the fact that he couldn't go to work because Covid had just happened. We struck up a conversation and somehow ended up on the topic of roller coasters. That's when he told me he was in charge of the construction of the Tron ride!
This is one of my home parks, I can’t Wait.
How great it must be to ride a new Disney coaster with zero wait time!
Well, it’s gonna be just like Guardians, so technically you won’t have to wait that long, but the tradeoff is that you’ll only be able to ride once per day. (Twice if you pay for ILL)
@@SunnylandProds Thanks!
So when are you getting a roller coaster Link? I'm hope soon in Nintendo world. A dueling one between you and Gannon would be nice
@@johnholder4208 Lmao. I changed this picture ages ago but RUclips still has this for some reason.
The closest coaster to me is Shivering Timbers and I think Gannon might have trouble fitting in a PTC train!
A Death Mountain Dueling coaster at Epic Universe would be...well, Epic!
I am a Disney fan and it seems like some of the rides lately haven’t been great they were just Fun like smugglers run but Tron and Guardians are on next level for Disney let’s hope they keep it up because universal studios is coming for them and it’s very soon
Meanwhile Universal is laughing in their Starfall Racer souvenir coffee mugs…
Universal is better than Disney in every conceivable way.....well, except for the amount of shills, I suppose
Fr
Island of adventure>any disney park
Fr?
@@DSoto-nf8je not for me personally. I recently went to Universal for the first time and while I liked Islands of Adventure I only really loved Harry Potter and Velocicoaster. I love a lot more things Disney has to offer (even with their recent mistakes)
@@DSoto-nf8jeYES
Even the lockers are sick AF lol, amazing. Best themed queue ever? Yes I think so.
I wouldn’t go as far as saying best ever, but it’s definitely cool
Velocicoaster prob has the best queue
Or... Emperor Dive Coaster lol
Wtf no☠️
Best queue is easily Harry Potter and the forbidden journey
I'm going on March 8th to ride this and I am SO PUMPED!!!
I'm guessing the door is off-center because the que switches back to the right and so when you look at where the center line between the two ramps is, that is in the center of the room
Sarah talking about vibes so often she's even got Taylor doing it, lol
I really didn't come away impressed with what I've seen thus far with Tron. The ride looks very short, it is based on a movie that really isn't popular like Harry Potter is for Hagrid's or the marvel movies for Guardians, where both rides are much longer and seem to have more going for them and I'm one that has mixed thoughts about Hagrids in the past but that ride is a lot better than what Tron looks like. It doesn't look like the ride itself is all that impressive as it really looks like the speed just comes to a halt. My first thought was Pony Express from Knott's going faster with a bunch of lights, and even Knott's made fun of it on their instagram. Not a coaster I would rush out for and granted I understand I'm not the target for them, but I think after seeing what Universal did with Hagrid's and what Disney did with Guardians, this looks like a disappointment.
Preshow was sweet.
Definitely looks like a night ride only sort of ride, for me anyway. I'm going to do the 4 park in a day challenge in April after scuba diving in the Bahamas and plan on only going to MK for a single night ride on Tron.
We can't wait to check this out for ourselves! 😁
I always wanted to go to Tron but my parents said I can't go travel places without them before I get out of college and I'm still quite young, I'm in a high school, but I am definitely a coaster kid lol.
Cute thumbnail 💙
Am I the only one underwhelmed by this ride? Maybe it's one of those experiences you have to ride to understand but idk doesn't seem amazing
It looks cool but nothing spectaculair
Agreed. Underwhelming especially for the amount of time it took them to build it.
As I said before, I haven’t ridden, but my daughter and two sons are thoroughly unimpressed. It’s just not enough coaster for them. They claim it’s a kiddie coaster with really uncomfortable seats(at least if you are a tall male)
Go to knotts berry farm and ride pony express. Similar ride setup without the lights.
Will the longest queue at Magic Kingdom finally belong to a "worthy" ride.
I'm afraid we won't find out until Disney discontinues the virtual queue for Tron sometime in the future. Personally I think early 2025.
That or when Tiana’s opens cause they might do virtual queue for that. I don’t think they’d have 2 virtual queues at the same time let alone in the same park
They say rollercoaster type ride on Space Mountain at Disneyland as well
if this isn’t the craziest ride to ever open at disney, idk what is. i’ve been waiting for tron to come to WDW for a while.
I have to call bs on you guys liking this ride. A new ride is always exciting and while getting to ride a few times before you have to wait 4 plus hours would surely improve my overall opinion, consider the following: 1. taking 5 years to build a clone 2. stepping over the track to load the right side(not safe/confusing/will surely lead to down time) 3. hard trims for no apparent reason on an already short ride, and 4. that DAF Enterprise ad on the sign make me totally alright with never spending the money to go to DW ever again.
Meanwhile Velosicoaster laughing in the background
Looks incredible !! Where’s the POV ??
ruclips.net/video/CYRu1rnLERQ/видео.html
A lot of people beat you to it,. It's a sucky ride, but I'm sorta thinkin' about that cruise thing next year.,. I liked this channel 33-50% more when Dakota was doing parodies.
God I wanna ride this so bad I went in November before it had opened
how were you able to marathon it 4-5 times? how long did yall wait lmao
it was a walk on for the first 3!
10:18 it’s obviously not centered because the whole ramp is centered to the load station.
the fastest disney ride is not lightcycle run, its surprisingly test track!
I think this may be a one ride for credit for me! Not enough here for my taste! Js
I personally still prefer Cosmic Rewind for the sole fact that it's has a decent ride length. If this was like 20 seconds longer then this would be my favorite.
Is this as uncomfortable as Booster bikes at Toverland or did they change up the seats a bit? They look pretty similar 😅
The theming looks amazing but the rides looks pretty underwhelming..
If it weren't for the brake runs on Tron, it would feel even shorter so I understand why it has to be like that.
I liked the Tron ride at Walt Disney in Shanghai
Its a good family action coaster or for coaster beginners but a little bit short.
Is Disney california opening one of these also soon?
no dont think we are getting a 3rd version anytime soon
If so,I assume it will be at least five years from now…
Plz plz plz Disneyland
Does it feel to much like space mountain with the darkness but cool effects and lighting?
Sort of. Very different rider sensations
First thoughts is that that the Shanghai entry plaza wow factor is missing in this version. Even though I did not think the ride was all that great, the overall theming in that area was worth the visit.
I kinda wonder if it would've been better if Tron and Epcot's GoG coasters had swapped locations.
IMO, Tron seems too similar in intensity to Space Mountain, which is just next door. GoG would be a much bigger difference.
At Epcot, they could've themed Tron as an educational ride to match Epcot's classic educational theme. The queue could be an educational thing about the different steps that make the internet work, and the ride could be experiencing those steps and the speed of the internet first-hand! The outdoor section could be the WiFi step!
Strange restraint system. But it works. Sense if speed is increased.
Cosmic Rewind is Disney’s fastest coaster. Tron only goes 59 mph while Cosmic Rewind goes 60.3
what abt rock n roller coaster?
@@nat-qw8wu 57 mph
@@nat-qw8wu 57 mph
Oops lol was off by one😂
@@CoasterStudios haha, this launch looks much better in my opinion
NO WAY🙀
What's hard for me about these Disney rides like Guardians and Tron, is that they only let you ride once a day. It's difficult to even get that first ride at all. I prefer cheap amusement parks that have good roller coasters that I can ride again and again
Is this gonna be you guys in Utah in a few months?
We would love to ride Primordial at some point, but we do not know yet when that’ll be
@@CoasterStudios I think it will most likely open in July, somewhere around there
The sad thing is that I went to Disney in September and it wasn’t open😂
I’m still trying to figure out this the same company that made the SLC’s
Keep in mind Vekoma has gone through a lot of company wide changes since those days. They completely overhauled their roller coaster design and engineering department. They are not operated the same as they used to.
@@CoasterStudios thank goodness for that
Its not the fastest since i know out the top of my head is that flight force in DLP has a speed of 105+
Nope flight force has a max speed of 92 km per hour or 57 mph
how intense are the elements?
The first turn probably pulls the most forces but it’s not anything crazy
I rode the one at Shanghai and has the same show where you see the launch. After that, theres a room where you are asigned to the team, and the station. The lockers area is the only new (and cool) thing. Layout is also the same. HOWEVER!!!! The TRON logo and the outdoor visual is stuning, while here is a bit... Meh...
watchibg this... i feel like tron shouldve been in epcot, and guardians shouldve been in MK??
Personally I would’ve put Guardians at Hollywood Studios -Taylor
Damn I missed the pre show in 2019 at Shanghai. When we got in the park we got a fast pass to it and went straight to pirates which was only a 15 minute wait then went to tron which was a 2 hour wait but since we snagged a fast pass it took us 20 minutes. I have had the same complaint that it's too short but it's still an awesome ride.
How come there’s absolutely NO THEMING in the exit queue? You’d think after 6 years of construction for a minute-long ride they would try to do something other than a plain, black hallway that dumps guests out slide next to garage doors.
The garage doors are not going to be visible once that Enterprise promotional area is finished.
Can you do guardians vrs tron
eventually!!
Matterhorn, Big Thunder, and Space Mountain all seem more fun than Tron. This ride would have been much cooler if it was a dueling coaster with a blue and orange train instead of video screens.
The experience with the visuals is nice but the overall attraction as a coaster is very lackluster. The only re ride value is the visuals not the coaster itself
Someone should ride the accessible vehicle
Cosmic Rewind is actually faster than Tron. It has a top speed of 60 mph.
I would had bought a plane ticket to Shang hai if I knew the annual pass prices is going to cost more than the plane ticket. It’s exact clone…
For sure, Taylor, Cosmic Rewind edges it out on speed albeit by less than one mile per hour. I do love this ride and am very impressed with what Disney did with a Booster bike but in the end, it is a Booster bike. I went to it's cast preview with my daughter at Shanghai and again in 2017 and 2018 and thoroughly enjoy this Disney masterpiece but, I am a self proclaimed Disney fan of the magic, you are not so much. You've always seemed to lean toward thrill versus theme which has me a bit confused. I half expected you to point out that it's just a Booster Bike, strip away the façade and we're left with a very mediocre underwhelming coaster even by Booster Bike standards. I'm happy you're seeing the magic brother, Sarah is rubbing off on you.
The layout definitely isn’t what it could be, but I think it works in this circumstance. The ride would be nothing without the theming. If this were a completely outdoor ride plopped down in a field, it would not have received the same praise
Lol it will take Universal 5 years to build a new park and Disney can build a coaster in the same time😂
Im wondering if it is better then hagrid
Probably not
Highly doubt it
no ❤
No way lol
Absolutely not. Just rode Hagrid’s this morning. Not even comparable
Looks so cool but why is the track soo thicc?
its the coaster type look up boosterbike toverland i think that was the og
Tomorrow land at magic kingdom is so far superior to the tomorrow land at Disneyland. No bathrooms have exceeded the Harry Potter bathrooms at universal Hollywood . The best !
Yeah Disneyland Tomorrowland isn’t that good. I know a lot of people that want Disneyland’s to go under a massive referb
Lmao I was just thinking yesterday when watching the POV video that they should bring back old test track since this is there now, and Sarah said it in this video
"Presented by Enterprise"
"Presented by Coaster Studios"
Well, at least it's not "brought to you, by pfizer"
Pls say hi to me taylor
It's probably 15 minutes of them shiting on Disney. But they need the views
Watch the video and you’ll probably be surprised!
the ride is way too short. looks boring as well. They have a better bike-coaster in that much better park down the road
Final thoughts don’t wait in line it ain’t worth it . Take photos of it instead
Why do you have to bring a duffle bag with you? I don't get it!
We had camera equipment in it
I would not wait 2 hours for a ride that is under 2 min. BIG FAILURE!!!!
Easily the most boring, disappointing coaster I've ever been on. Tron is one of my favorite IPs. I was truly heartbroken after riding it.
and again: new vekoma. gone are the SLC days.
You probably rode the prototype already in toverland: booster bike.
