I connected metamask to the bot and the dashboard but the address I see on the dashboard is different from the one on the bot which I copied from metal wallet. Is there a problem with that? Because my balance is reading 0.00. Could the fault be from my phone?

There is always no guarantee with crypto. You could try 10 things only 3 or 2 will be profitable, you could buy 10 coins only 2 or 3 will make your money. You might never know the one till you try it all.
You can simple choose not to do any of them.
