Boosting bass to "correct" room suck-outs is garbage. All you'll do is overdrive your (sub)woofer(s) at certain frequencies.
ANY cancellation in the room can have infinite power input. The room will still cancel it. It's like putting a band-aid on an axe wound.
Treat the room with absorption FIRST (often incorrectly called bass "traps") - look up "acoustic fields" on YT. Dennis knows his stuff.
