A bit surprised that being in the East you haven't heard of Dimash. He's widely renowned as the greatest vocalist of his generation, if not in living history. Musically trained from the age of 5 he has a bachelors degree in vocals and a masters degree in composition and is just about to complete his PhD. He's performed in 15 languages and almost all genres from Opera to Rap. He did a beautiful duet with Placido Domingo last year. He's very much a gentleman and always understands the assignment, a complete professional so he was actually holding back a bit here to let Chante shine because she was the contestant and he was just the guest star. Strangely enough he got his breakthrough on this exact show back in 2017, now he's an established artist (although still independent) with his own production company and holding stadium sized concerts all over the world. Not bad for (as he describes himself) just an ordinary guy from Kazakhstan.

I'm from the USA and Dimash is my favorite artist. He is known as one of the greatest artists of our generation. He has 8 octaves and sings in at least 16 different languages. Lately, it’s clear that Dimash is moving in this direction. And what do you think about his pronunciation and accent?
@@Nurikjjt unfortunately the US seems to pay too much attention to accents, this is something I've learnt over 4 years of watching reactions. I actually wish that Dimash would pay more attention to the UK music scene as over here we're so used to dealing with different accents that we really don't care unless it's a really bad mispronunciation that changes the meaning of the sentence. Also we've produced some of the greatest artists the world has known despite being a much smaller country and a lot of those artists have made very successful crossovers to the US. We're also incredibly supportive of independent artists. He's already received offers from some major names in the UK, namely Abbey Road Studios who produced the Beatles. Unfortunately on his side of the world they grow up believing that the US is the be all and end all of entertainment which really isn't the case.
If, as you said, Chante is in competition, Dimash here as in every of his duets, holding back. He is very tactful and supportive always. Over the years most Dimash's listeners believe that Dimash has the best voice in the Universe, also the best performer. Peace!

I'm glad you reacted to this duet (I didn't know the American singer Chanteé Moore and I loved her voice so much) and I think the duet with DIMASH QUDAIBERGEN ( FROM KAZAKHSTAN) who in 2017 was a participant in this Chinese contest and came in 2nd place, was incredible. but he further leveraged his talent and success (he's a phenomenal vocalist, you haven't seen anything yet, he goes from baritone to Tenor and Soprano) you can react to him too... I know the song LOSE CONTROL and it sounded beautiful in his voice. Chanteé, I love the R&B, JAZZ style and Dimash was the ideal partner, both with beautiful, privileged voices, the chemistry happened... Thank you.

@@Nurikjjtfor native English speakers, many may think its a big problem but not to the rest of the world who doesnt. As you know, Dimash sings in multiple languages. Most of them are songs in languages that most of us dont speak. We care very little of his pronunciation in these other songs except mostly those who are natives to these languages. Some of the critics of his English diction/ pronunciation are not very good English speaker themselves lol. Yeah some of those reactors dont have good pronunciations lol. Its okay because its not their first language. English is my third language and I dont consider myself excellent in English but I do care a little about diction but in Dimash's case, I'd give him a break considering during his time in this same competition in 2017, his comprehenssion of the English language is very little and he had a translator with him all the time because he spoke very, very little English. These days, at least he is able to hold a simple conversation in English and his diction has improved. If this was in 2017, I dont think I can understand what he sings about unless I have subtitles on. We do hope he still works on enhancing his English eventhough many among Dimash fans thought his 'Dinglish' is endearing and would rather he not lose it, ever.
Glad you got to see Dimash! I didn't know who Chante was but I really liked her voice and the way she sang this. And she and Dimash looked like they were having a lot of fun! Yes, Dimash has a huge vocal range. From almost the low end of the piano to off the top end! And he sings many genres and in many languages. Interestingly, the one genre I haven't heard him sing is country, considering you said that he had a country type of voice! He can do riffs and runs, opera, rock, jazz, folk, and mixtures of all of them! He hasn't done much RnB, so this was fun to hear. I hope you will take a listen to some more of his work. 🇨🇦

I had never heard of Chanté before she performed this duet with Dimash. She does have a nice voice. But Dimash is the top vocal genius on the planet so she must have talent or he would not be doing a duet with her. Dimash is always the gentleman and matches his voice to help his partner shine in every duet. Personally, I would have preferred that he be teamed up with Faouzia as she was also competing. Dimash would not have had to hold back as much with Faouzia as she is a lot more talented, with a warmer voice, than Chanté. His vocals are genre-bending, writes and composes his own music, and plays multiple instruments. Definitely a musical genius like Prince.

You will love these two not to mention the stage and the lighting and the projected image. This song was written by Sa Ding Ding (the woman) to the Chinese drama "Ashes Of Love" one of the most watched dramas in Chinese entertainment. I'm from the USA and Dimash is my favorite artist. He is known as one of the greatest artists of our generation. He has 8 octaves and sings in at least 16 different languages. Not to mention he is a multi instrumentalist. This duet with Chante is HOT!! Do yourself a favor and check out more from our dear Dimash.
Hello! How is Dimash doing in the American market? I think few people know him there, and it’s really a shame. But on the other hand, Americans prefer the genres of r&b, hip-hop, metal, rock. Lately, it’s clear that Dimash is moving in this direction. And what do you think about his pronunciation and accent?

@@Nurikjjt unfortunately the US seems to pay too much attention to accents, this is something I've learnt over 4 years of watching reactions. I actually wish that Dimash would pay more attention to the UK music scene as over here we're so used to dealing with different accents that we really don't care unless it's a really bad mispronunciation that changes the meaning of the sentence.
Also we've produced some of the greatest artists the world has known despite being a much smaller country and a lot of those artists have made very successful crossovers to the US. We're also incredibly supportive of independent artists.
He's already received offers from some major names in the UK, namely Abbey Road Studios who produced the Beatles. Unfortunately on his side of the world they grow up believing that the US is the be all and end all of entertainment which really isn't the case.
He's definitely in a class of his own.
If, as you said, Chante is in competition, Dimash here as in every of his duets, holding back. He is very tactful and supportive always.
Over the years most Dimash's listeners believe that Dimash has the best voice in the Universe, also the best performer.

I'm glad you reacted to this duet (I didn't know the American singer Chanteé Moore and I loved her voice so much) and I think the duet with DIMASH QUDAIBERGEN ( FROM KAZAKHSTAN) who in 2017 was a participant in this Chinese contest and came in 2nd place, was incredible. but he further leveraged his talent and success (he's a phenomenal vocalist, you haven't seen anything yet, he goes from baritone to Tenor and Soprano) you can react to him too... I know the song LOSE CONTROL and it sounded beautiful in his voice. Chanteé, I love the R&B, JAZZ style and Dimash was the ideal partner, both with beautiful, privileged voices, the chemistry happened... Thank you.

@@Nurikjjtfor native English speakers, many may think its a big problem but not to the rest of the world who doesnt. As you know, Dimash sings in multiple languages. Most of them are songs in languages that most of us dont speak. We care very little of his pronunciation in these other songs except mostly those who are natives to these languages. Some of the critics of his English diction/ pronunciation are not very good English speaker themselves lol. Yeah some of those reactors dont have good pronunciations lol. Its okay because its not their first language. English is my third language and I dont consider myself excellent in English but I do care a little about diction but in Dimash's case, I'd give him a break considering during his time in this same competition in 2017, his comprehenssion of the English language is very little and he had a translator with him all the time because he spoke very, very little English. These days, at least he is able to hold a simple conversation in English and his diction has improved. If this was in 2017, I dont think I can understand what he sings about unless I have subtitles on. We do hope he still works on enhancing his English eventhough many among Dimash fans thought his 'Dinglish' is endearing and would rather he not lose it, ever.

Glad you got to see Dimash! I didn't know who Chante was but I really liked her voice and the way she sang this. And she and Dimash looked like they were having a lot of fun! Yes, Dimash has a huge vocal range. From almost the low end of the piano to off the top end! And he sings many genres and in many languages. Interestingly, the one genre I haven't heard him sing is country, considering you said that he had a country type of voice! He can do riffs and runs, opera, rock, jazz, folk, and mixtures of all of them! He hasn't done much RnB, so this was fun to hear. I hope you will take a listen to some more of his work. 🇨🇦

I had never heard of Chanté before she performed this duet with Dimash. She does have a nice voice.
But Dimash is the top vocal genius on the planet so she must have talent or he would not be doing a duet with her.
Dimash is always the gentleman and matches his voice to help his partner shine in every duet.
Personally, I would have preferred that he be teamed up with Faouzia as she was also competing.
Dimash would not have had to hold back as much with Faouzia as she is a lot more talented, with a warmer voice, than Chanté.
Must be a genre thing as it is shocking that you would not know who Dimash was.

Dimash was on The Singer 2017, when he was 21. Dimash should have won.. but they had to give the 1st place to a Chinese contestant back then. Ever since that time, Dimash has blown up the world! I am addicted to his voice. Enjoy your Dimash ride. This was a fun performance. If you want to see someone get their flowers...Just watch the live performances of Dimash. Nothing but flowers at the end of his performances. Love from Canada.

Chanté does have such an amazing voice and it is really good to see her again!! She has such beautiful rich vocals. I cannot say enough about the energy in her performances 💕. I am an old bird and have been around for a long time 😂 I only have been a Dimash fan for about five years now. He truly is the most gifted vocalist I've ever heard in my life. His vocals are genre-bending, writes and composes his own music, and plays multiple instruments. Definitely a musical genius like Prince.

Have you checked out the duet of Chinese's biggest artists; Zhou Chen and Sa Ding Ding? It's Sa Ding Ding's song "Upwards to the Moon? You will love these two not to mention the stage and the lighting and the projected image. This song was written by Sa Ding Ding (the woman) to the Chinese drama "Ashes Of Love" one of the most watched dramas in Chinese entertainment. I've seen it, it's by far one of my most favorite drama out of hundreds that I've watched. Anyway, back to this video. Love the Reaction.
