- I wanted to teach you all how to read a birth chart, assuming that YOU ALL have a copy of your chart - if you do, you will know what a birth chart looks like. But the point of these 3 part videos is to provide you with some tips and advice on HOW to read your chart, by being able to locate where everything is placed successfully.
Now if you don't have a copy, and you're NEW here - firstly, WELCOME! Nice to have you here - and secondly, there are some birth chart calculator/generator links below that you can click on in order to grab a copy with ease - they are GREAT sites, trust me!
Like I said, there will be/are 3 videos - and in this video, we are going over the VERY BASICS when it comes to reading your chart or interpreting placements.
We touch base on PLANETS, SIGNS, HOUSES, SYMBOLS/GLYPHS, ELEMENTS & MODES - and we also look at HOW the planets & signs blend together when in a particular house.

any spiritual/religious belief shouldn't be taught at school 😭😂
I disagree. Before high school I knew nothing about religion because my family isn't religious and I was never taught anything about it. However, in high school most schools do teach you a bit about different religions. I think if they're teaching religion, they should teach spirituality, too. Spirituality is just another type of religion in my eyes. Schools don't teach enough and what they do teach is pointless. Ask any 16 year old how to write out a check and and they wouldn't have a clue. It's sad really.

When reading a birth chart I feel like that meme with Charlie from Its Always Sunny waving his arms around and looking insane in front of a wall of papers.
So it’s kinda like “who(planet)” is “doing(sign)” “what/where(house)”.

best explanation I have seen on youtube in my 2 years of research, cant imagine how well my comprehension would be as a novice/beginner...Honestly the break down was on point for people that are past the beginning stages of astrology

I have mastered the basics, but still cannot understand how to combine planet energies or understanding how aspects really work (which when I try to, I want to pull my hair out causing premature baldness) , but im learning damn it!. Thank you Hannah. I'm a gay man and been studying astrology for over 15 years and never found online, nor books to explain how it merges together. As a Cancer sun with a Gemini moon in the 11th house, you totally helped me understand how and why my Gemini moon I feel more so of that then the Cancer sun at times. Also how my emotions switch all the time and why my mind is always on go mode and why I quickly get bored with most things within mins or secs. Thanks again!

The way you broke your notes down in your presentation was great. I’m very new to astrology but I’m very tapped into myself and my energy so some of this info I knew a little about but the way you got in depth really made it easy to understand and pick up!!!!

This has helped me out so much, I have been looking to do this for awhile now can study more easily. I now finally understand the difference between when a planet is in exaltation or fall, that has been confusing me for awhile. Oh and Aries with Gemini Moon in 2nd house!

Hannah you are WHY geminis should never be overrated. Some sun signed rules folks would never be able to fit all of this in a video. I'm a Cap sun (conjunct moon in the 10th, Pisces Asc w Aries intercept ugh) so Gem does double duty for me. I consider this video extremely USEFUL (from the bottom of my Neptune 9th heart).

Hey Hannah, I love your videos, and I notice how the way you speak attracts me. Actually if you don’t know Astraea rules Virgo, and Libra. Originally Astraea is the goddess of innocence, and purity. From her myth she ran away from humans wickedness, and flew away to the heavens, as she became the Virgo constellation.
As I further read more about Astraea, she is noted to be related with the Libra constellation. Because the Virgo constellation is next to the Libra constellation.
Astraea is stated to also be goddess of justice for the zodiac sign Libra. Actually no one mentions this name in astrology. Yet, Dike is the goddess of Justice, scales, and law. Her parents are Zeus and Themis the Titan goddess of good order and law.
These are not Astraea’s parents, but Dike’s parents. Her parents are Eos (Roman for Aurora) while Eos is a Greek name. She’s the goddess of dawn, while her dad Astraeus is the god of art of astrology, stars, and planets. Since the Stars are related with the world of the dead, heavens, hell Astraea is associated with the Star constellation of Virgo the virgin. Because Virgo is Latin for the virgin, and the translation of Virgo reminds me of the Mary the mother of Jesus Christ.

Bravo! So many people on here talking about how complicated what you are saying is and you broke it down in a super easy way to understand without all the unconnected pieces that other channels leave. I looked everywhere for a (beginner video), that actually teaches you how to "read the chart and planetary influences", that wasn't just how to read what the read line going from mars to jupiter is, or what the symbols are. I have looked at tons of videos and non of them bridge the gap, it's either what the symbols and lines mean ect., or more complicated aspects of reading a chart without anyone actually explaining steps in reading. The only thing I would have done different is the oder you put your charts in so that is was more uniform aries leo sag, capr taurus virgo, libra aquarius gemini, cancer scorpio pisces... Are all exactly cardinal fixed mutable, and angular succeedent cadent lined up... I only noticed it cause I study hermetics and magick.
By the way, if you want your mind blown: go study the qabalistic tree of life and then after you understand how it's spirit filtering down into reality until it's physically created, then look up the qabalistic tree of life and (the four worlds). You will see the same pattern. Fire, uncreated spirit potential, then air, thought and structure of those energies filtering down into water ( the collection of it): (which has to do with emotions), which filters down into the physical and material (earth) after all levels have created and worked together.
Video is very helpful in general. I will continue with the next ones. I managed to follow all the way through and it felt appropriate and easy.

the symbols i associate with the modes is triangle for cardinal, square for fixed and a circle for mutable. i had made a chart for someone and colour coded it too, i think red for cardinal, black for fixed and blue for mutable
Aries and Scorpio rule mars scorpio co ruled pluto*, Sagittarius and Pisces rule jupiter*, Pisces is co ruled by neptune,Taurus and Libra rule venus Taurus is co rule by earth*, Capricorn and Aquarius both rule saturn then aquarius has uranus added to act as a support system to help saturn rule aquarius. last but not least Mercury rules virgo but its exalted in virgo, gemini rules mercury also.

I've been listening to astrology and doing some self learning, but this really helps for basics. There is a lot to learn about astrology, and North and South Nodes do matter, but maybe later. But good job in suggesting on how to organize yourself.

Thank you for making this video. Tbh I don't feel like its the best for beginner beginners but good for people who knows the basics down but is having trouble reading the chart still and other things about the chart. For me ive been research stuff about zodiac signs for awhile and I know the badics down decently and this helped me piece this together more and understand how to read the birth chart a lot better. What a nice subject to learn in this time of isolation
So I'm a little confused on which charts we are filling in our own alignments on (definitely the first one, right?) and which ones are fixed for everybody (the last one with earth air water and fire?) orrr is this all being written out with what is aligned with what for us? What does it mean when only a few houses are represented very strongly on your chart?

Dear Hannah, I have my Astrological chart, with total confusion about how to read it, despite your tutorials. I am really interested in calculating when I will die...maybe even how, if that is possible?

I love your Videos..and just wanted to humbly share my ideas of associations and rulerships of the asteroids and points for consideration:
I have found...in studying many charts..that Ceres is like a female Jupiter...being an amplifier or force of nature and also like a female PLuto..but she giveth first..then taketh (Pluto is the other way)
Ceres co rules Taurus..because she is a wealth indicator (study and you will see)
Some would say she has to do with Virgo..but the grain in her hand..is Harvest..abundance..which is Venus and Taurus..
Pele..asteroid 2202 is also a wealth indicator when associated favorably with Venus, Ceres, and especially the 2nd cusp..Pele =intense, volcanic flow
Trump and Kim Yung ? have Pele conj their 2nd cusp...(intense , volcanic, abundance)
Also..Emmi..from Shaytards..has this..SHSHSHS..she's a powerhouse waiting to happen..
Chiron...is associate with Virgo via the 6th house of health..and hidden enemies..
Chiron was a child of a Titan...and thus..on equalish footing to the Olympian Gods..Zeus,(Jupiter)..etc.
Vesta is associate with Aries..Vesta the torch..is also literally...flying fire..in natural disaster or volcano charts..
BML..is associate with..Scorpio...dark thoughts, getting it done no matter the obstacles, sex and death...she may be a coruler...of Scorpio..Right now she is conj Mars R...near the 7.27.18 lunar eclipse energy pothole at 4 deg Aquarius..causing people to have erratic and unusual dark thought...revenge or angry thoughts...but this too..shall pass..in about 6 months..
Rahu..is the dragon's fire breathing head..my way or the highway and it is associate with ARIES..(go forth)...and Ketu..is associated with Pisces..and the 12th ultimate loss of attachment..the final graduation from earth position in teh 12th...

I’m a Libra sun, Scorpio moon, Scorpio rising, mercury sign in Libra, Venus in Virgo, and Leo mars.

Just wondering. Is this information based on your birth chart or is this just standard astrological info? I have been wanting to read my birth chart properly for a while now and I am finally taking the time to write all of this down and get serious about it. So the charts you made, is this your natal chart or abasic astrological chart showing house, nodes and such? Thanks for any info.

the tables she made are standard info of astrology. Think of it as a table of formulas. You read your chart and depending on which planet falls in which house ruled by which sign, you look up on the chart and match and blend the planet, house, and sign :)
this is what really confused me as she didn't explain this, I just assumed they were her own personal charts so I attempted to fill them in with my own information but it got really tricky
