Even at 17, he was by far the best player at the failed 2018 World Cup qualifying, and really showed the difference in quality between Europe and MLS. Now there's a fit bit of optimism in the USMNT as prospects aim for the top 5 leagues rather than a career in MLS. He's doing this docuseries to try to help prepare future Americans for the challenges they will face. A lot of US fans will watch it, as he was the first American player to truly break through for the super clubs.
