So............to be clear, homeboy didn't care whether the emperor was the emperor, his cousin, a BOY, a girl, or his SISTER, he was all in. That being the case, this show really NEEDED a bedroom scene to showcase the culmination of such intense passion, and they just left us hanging. -____-
This is actually a great comical in-novel costume production. This has a hidden identity-arc of the Emperor being a woman (not reversed gender) and falling in love with the Regent protecting “his” life. I did find the FL unbelievable in the role as a supposed male Emperor. No one would be fooled by this. But since it’s comical, I can see past that and be highly entertained anyway. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! FL, a modern day female writer transmigrates into the novel she is writing. In the novel, the Emperor is a woman dressed as a man since women cannot be Emperors. At the time FL enters the body, the Emperor was just attempted murdered by poisoned wine. She wakes up, receives the memories of the murder (the maid of a rival to the throne) and realizes that she is now the Emperor - and that the room is filled with assassins. Fortunately a warrior arrives to deal with them. It turns out to be the cousin of the body’s original owner - and the county’s Regent. A man known for being ruthless and fierce. She manages to partly threaten and persuade him into protecting “her” personally. Something that proves wise when she is thrown into the harsh world of Palace politics where it is difficult to know who to trust. But trying to conceal her real identity, a fellow time-traveler and feelings between the Emperor and Regent, makes things increasingly complicated. Well, not spoiling too much, this has a happy ending.

今再看一遍真是回味無窮，女主太可愛了演這部真搞笑又漂亮又會演，男主也是帥呆了整部戲就是好看，感謝製作團隊編出這麼好看的戲。

男女又何必這麼重要，重要的是他愛你，我喜歡這結局，可惜的是後面甜的部份太少了，但後半段很多親吻的畫面，真的好慾呀，我喜歡，哈哈哈，演的真好，這個男主真好看，女主女裝好看，也許是龍袍不合身看著怪，但穿白色的男裝時的確蠻好看的
