Loved the insight from Robert about how an am would have to throw it vs. a pro. That kind of detail is super useful and should be in all the videos going forward!
You didn't mention it's utility as a forehand disc - a type of throw at which this disc excels because you don't have to yank your shoulder out of joint to get it up to speed and it is easy to control for smooth hyzer and hyzer flip shots. I wouldn't try to use it over 300 if you are looking for accuracy, but it CAN reach those distances. It holds true to the flight numbers in wind as well as long as you adjust your angle - but slightly only - for either head or tail winds. If you need a flex forehand through a low ceiling, the Captain is also well suited.
I just started to throw my Captain again after taking it out of my bag 9 months ago. I can out throw my Shryke with it. I have 2 weights, 170 and 174. It was a little more stable than I was expecting, but can get it to hyzerflip now. Looking forward to using them more now and taking over my flippy Shryke.
Really good disc. It is a disc I can smash on most of the time unless the headwind is strong. All I have to do is normally adjust the amount of hyzer on the disc. If you have a "big arm" this disc might not be great for you but it will still work good for left to right shots that don't just turn into a throwler.
Fantastic disc. For me (max distance 350- 380) it will flip and fade back. Great for max distance. For my son (max distance 425-450) it is great to start on a hyzer, flip up and go right. Or a high flat to anhyzer that glide for a looong time. He also flicks it well, but I would not recommend it as a forehand disc.
How about as a roller disc? I am looking to add my first roller specific to the bag and have been throwing a Trespass for most drives, a Defender when I need a harder finish left (RHBH).
If you are someone who is like I don't know how people distance drive with enforcers or defenders... Then this disc is right for you. I love the captain and throw it often.
I'm a long time fan of the Latitude 64 Havoc. As my arm speed has increased over the years it's become too understable to use. So my question is, will the Captain be a good fit in between my World and the Havoc. (Central Oregon doesn't have buy back retailers, lame, I know)
the comment below is quite off in my opinion, the bolt and havoc both are much more US than the captain. i have thrown my freinds captain several times on different and its much more OS than a havoc(but not near as much as a world) for reference i use the havoc, and bolt as roller discs.

I got an Ace with my Lucid Captain last night. Love this disc
I love dynamic discs and your videos

Love your videos and that you demo how discs will fly for ams, as well as pros. Could you review the Getaway?
I love my captain! Great disc. Thanks DD
I love Dynamic Disc! Can’t wait to put this disc in my bag for good.
Thanks Fellas....I’m holding out for the Renegade Pro!
Ohhh Yeah!

Love this disc already bag 2 and 2 maverick's and 2 explorer's lol great job guys!!
Joe Fowler try the getaway, you won't be disappointed in any plastic.
Love this disc! I really need that pink lucid!!
Love the Havoc. I can throw it alright. Whatever pros use as a roller disc is usually what I can throw straight. lol

Great review. Still like the Trespass. One of my favorites.
I have a 174 Trespass that's really stable for me. I use it for sidearms. How much flippier is the Air Trespass?
Mine is a 171 and beaded in. If I throw it hard I can get it to hold an anie and flex out. Not as hard I get a good straight line. I'm a back hand.
I have a trespass 172 got a ace with it couple days ago I still use my captain in wooded areas
I might have to give this a try.
One of my new favorites

Cameron Blake. If you have good arm speed try a Renegade for a good back hand roller.
Mamba
I have a 169 Misprint Lucid Captain for long, straight shots. I paid full price for an Air Lucid Captain for long forehands
Can’t wait to try this
Love this disc. It is a bomber for me. Love that yellow/orange one. Would look good in my bag. 😉

Can you flip it?
I love this disc! Straight flight for me
Got one on the way.Looking forward to trying it.👍🏼

sadisticsinon this is more like a Bolt than anything. Definitely more on the understable side than a Havoc.

I love my captain I will buy other one for sure
Is this disc right for you?
SPEED 13.
nope.
i love captins
Champion Tern?
it's a little less stable than a Star Shryke imo
how is it bad?
