I want to thank everyone for being kind in the comments about my thoughts in the Blush palette. Whenever I don't like something, people for some odd reason take it personally 🤪🤪 But, I will say, i have seen mixed reviews of this palette. Those who like it, LOVE it, and those who don't, don't. I think because it's too much on my aging skin, that's why I don't like it. But, those who are younger, I can see this complimenting the skin in a beautiful way... I will continue to play around with it, and try too find ways to make it work. But, it's to much texture on my aging skin. Bottom line. But, I REAAAALLY appreciate all the support and if you got the palette, let us know how you like it because I know many will🙌🙌💕💕 LOVE YOU ALL💋💋

Thank you! I always wait for your reviews! :-) Natasha literally just posted on IG a tutorial for the cheek palette, and she recommends tapping the love glow cream base. She said that dragging the base (like with a brush) will disturb the foundation underneath, like what happened to you. I think I'm going to wait on buying this because, like you, I have hyperpigmentation on my cheeks, and I don't want to worry about that showing through.

Good Morning Tara🌞! These colors are just getting to me! So pretty! One thing with Natasha Denona cream shadows, I love to use them as eyeliners! That Metropolis Palette, I find I reach for that and use those for liners! They are creamy so the blend on well. And they are so pigmented that I only need a little and it lasts all day! I am excited about this palette seeing it on your eyes! It looks so beautiful! Hello everyone, I have a question: are the mats and metal shadows of a quality comparable to that of the Metropolis or the Brown-Green palette, for example? Or, for example, the gold palette? I've heard that the plastic pallets are a little inferior to the pseudo leather pallets. Many Thanks.

How funny I had 3 little bumps on the eye that I did off camera and couldn't believe how "patchy" the shade I used for my crease was, I had to blend so much! When I did the on camera eye which didn't have any bumps I didn't have any problems at all. I am sort of glad to see that you had a similar issue.

The moment I seen this palette I fell in love ( pinks being my favorite ) and knew it was a true pink palette** the face palette I have to admit I more bought it for the packaging but ya STUNNING !! Thank you for a great video! I love that you really took the time to see if it was dupable within your collection. I was on the fence but I really love her formula (it’s a new love) and pinks and purples are the easiest colors for me outside of neutrals and did order it. I debated back and forth with the blush palette- I love a “glowy” blush but not straight glitter. And that’s all I see when I see it. Though I’m still not counting it out because I’m such a sucker for packaging! Ahh! But not using the whole palette would bug me! The one pink glitter shade really does ruin it and is a deciding factor for me. Thank you again!!

I also have problems with her cream to powder shadows. Also if you have lila or sunset, she changed the lab and the quality of her newer shadows is lower. Its a shame since I adored her original formula. I skipped metropolis and probably will skip on this one. Thank you for your honesty I really like your channel and I'm subscribing. 😘
Thanks for that info. I am actually new to Natasha Denona, my first ND palette I bought was the Safari palette and it was AWFUL . But, I enjoyed the Biba palette.. with me being new to her brand, I can definitely see the inconsistencies and ive heard amazing things about her older palettes. It's a shame she tries to reinvent the wheel, but what she had created worked and built the love for her palettes (and everyone justified the price because they loved the quality). I'm not sure why she keeps trying to change it, but you're right changing the lab/formula was a shame😬😬 Thanks for your support, and I appreciate you subscribing. Try to swatch it, but if you want consistent good quality I woud recommend you to try Viseart, they have excellent mattes and they upgraded their shimmers. They are consistent and they offer smaller palettes so you can try and see if you like the formula without breaking the bank! :)

My palette is arriving by Saturday and I can’t wait for it !! The red and silver shades are just speaking to me to use right away !! Along with the rest of the palette 😂. When I seen Natasha swatch the silver shade down her arm on Instagram I knew I had to get it and the looks she’s created online are just gorgeous. Great looks you created. Hi Tara!! I tried using a neutral brown shade with the palette too and the looks still pulled too pink on me. I just felt like I wasn’t “in love” with the Love palette!! So unfortunate for me since the palette looks so BEAUTIFUL!! I guess I need to just stick with colors that look better on me as I get older. I looked at a video that Tammy Ageless Beauty (I think that’s her channels name) and realized that she is what I want to look like as I get older. She always look so classy, graceful and Beautiful!! 😊❤️
It's definitely PINK. lol. I was struggling to get that pink to tone down a little. And that shade worked well. I'm sorry it didn't work for you, I agree though. I am more of a natural eyeshadow girl. These colors look Amazing on others, but not me. Lol. My perfect type of eyeshadow look is what I was wearing in yesterday's video (my Jan Favs). They're are a few I love. Depending on what you like. If you want a little bit of soft highlight, I LOVE the Charlotte Tilbury beauty light wand in peach. If you want a Matte formula, the liquid blushes from Nars are BOMB. I just bought the liquid blushes from Glossier, I've heard several people rave about that formula so I'll be trying that out soon.. Also, Lilah B has a great cream formula that isn't liquid, and works well. Pricey though. Ooooh and I LOVE nudestix. They have such a soft buildable formula ❤❤❤

The bloom cheek palette it s stunning, i like the cream blush even if is shiny it makes you look so fresh ,you might want to use a stippling brush ,i was thinking to buy the new one because it looks lighter and i used the light creqm blush so much but now i will just buy the bloom again,i wanna say thank you for such a good review i can see how much work goes in the video❤️

I was excited to see this video as I LOVE red and pink eyeshadows. I will say I was seriously hoping you were gonna use the red shades....😉 but no worries. You’re right, they don’t always work well with certain skin shades . The darker red you used a bit of looked great. My fav was the first look. Love glitter...yet pink blush that bright doesn’t always look well on m y skin and hair color (very pale and burnished brown with a lot of white) weird but true. I was hoping they’d be available in a store, but haven’t seen it yet. I love the idea you can pop the colors out! Well, great review Tara! And, I gotta say...you have THE best cheekbones for blush. I loved all the eye looks you created with this. I’m not going to buy the palettes because I can’t use pinks on my eyes but I love watching what looks you come up with. Especially love look 3, but they all look beautiful in you.
Great review. Agree with you completely about the eyeshadow palette needing a neutral brown. I used this palette this morning and ended up looking like a pink lollipop. Just not my thing at all. Think it’s going to be one of those palettes I always use with a more neutral palette. I ended up using the Scott Barnes Snatural palette to even out the tones a bit and saved having to wash it off! I like the cheek palette, but again, not using it with the eyeshadow palette (too much pink), and never all at once! I used mine with a sponge, but I also used a pore filling primer before foundation so it was pretty smooth. Think I’m going to try mixing it with the Bloom palette to kill the overly pink vibes. So much freaking work!

I really appreciate your presentation. Watching this, I agree it needs browns to tone reds down. I never do monotone colors. I almost always take from two palettes and use browns and neutrals with a pop of color. The cheek palette does not appeal to me.

Tara, I wonder if applying a setting spray over your foundation, would seal/keep separated the base from the cheek colour palette? It seems to me that this would likely stop the emollients from lifting your foundation. Also, I haven’t yet looked at what foundation brand you are wearing, but perhaps an ND one would have complimented the cheek palette in that way...? I don’t know 🤷♀️ You have way more expertise in this area than I do, but it did occur to me at the time, and I figured it would be remiss not to mention it. Your three looks were breathtaking! This is testament to how beautifully you foresee and apply colour! Thank you. Would you mind terribly, creating one (or two ; ) more looks, using the purple shades next? I have the same problem with hypermigmentation on my cheeks and the TF cream bronzer. The Huda beauty overachiever concealer is the only thing I can lay down under cream products that doesn't move. The concealer was to thick for under the eyes, but it has a great dry down on and staying power under cream products. I have the bronze palette and blush palette that NDenona previously released... How do you compare this one to the bloom palette? I have light medium skin tone... Thinking based on what you said this may be too light and I'll need too much product for pay off?
I wonder if the cream blush will be better applied with your fingers instead? And like gently tap it out? But other than that, I actually really like how your skin looks with it. It looks very hydrated and plump
Am I the only one who thinks her cream to powder eyeshadow formula isn't that good? It comes off patchy when you try to blend but it's good for packing but I don't wanna pack on a shadow and just leave it there...My colourpop shadows don't even get patchy.
Well my ND palettes arrived and I just quickly swatched a few shades in the eye palette and they are pretty but I’ll have to try them on my eye. Now the cheek palette, I’m confused. What is the purpose of the cream product? It looks like a light sheer lip gloss on my skin😳 I use the bloom and the bronze one almost daily. I don’t quite know what to think about this one. I’ll play with it more once I’m settled for the day.

I have aging skin as well and I'm also a darker-skinned black woman. It is always my worry that the shimmer shades are too shimmery and/or ashy. I'm looking at this eyeshadow palette, and it's sitting in my Sephora cart, but I'm still not sure if I really want this, which means that I probably shouldn't get it.

That Metropolis Palette, I find I reach for that and use those for liners! They are creamy so the blend on well. And they are so pigmented that I only need a little and it lasts all day! I am excited about this palette seeing it on your eyes! It looks so beautiful! How funny I had 3 little bumps on the eye that I did off camera and couldn't believe how "patchy" the shade I used for my crease was, I had to blend so much! When I did the on camera eye which didn't have any bumps I didn't have any problems at all. I am sort of glad to see that you had a similar issue.

Thank you for a great video! I love that you really took the time to see if it was dupable within your collection. I was on the fence but I really love her formula (it’s a new love) and pinks and purples are the easiest colors for me outside of neutrals and did order it. I debated back and forth with the blush palette- I love a “glowy” blush but not straight glitter. And that’s all I see when I see it. Though I’m still not counting it out because I’m such a sucker for packaging! Ahh! But not using the whole palette would bug me! The one pink glitter shade really does ruin it and is a deciding factor for me. Thank you again!!

I also have problems with her cream to powder shadows. Also if you have lila or sunset, she changed the lab and the quality of her newer shadows is lower. Thanks for that info. I am actually new to Natasha Denona, my first ND palette I bought was the Safari palette and it was AWFUL . But, I enjoyed the Biba palette.. with me being new to her brand, I can definitely see the inconsistencies and ive heard amazing things about her older palettes. It's a shame she tries to reinvent the wheel, but what she had created worked and built the love for her palettes (and everyone justified the price because they loved the quality). Try to swatch it, but if you want consistent good quality I woud recommend you to try Viseart, they have excellent mattes and they upgraded their shimmers. They are consistent and they offer smaller palettes so you can try and see if you like the formula without breaking the bank! :)

My palette is arriving by Saturday and I can’t wait for it !! The red and silver shades are just speaking to me to use right away !! Along with the rest of the palette 😂. When I seen Natasha swatch the silver shade down her arm on Instagram I knew I had to get it and the looks she’s created online are just gorgeous. Great looks you created. Hi Tara!! I tried using a neutral brown shade with the palette too and the looks still pulled too pink on me. I just felt like I wasn’t “in love” with the Love palette!! So unfortunate for me since the palette looks so BEAUTIFUL!! I guess I need to just stick with colors that look better on me as I get older. I looked at a video that Tammy Ageless Beauty (I think that’s her channels name) and realized that she is what I want to look like as I get older. She always look so classy, graceful and Beautiful!! 😊❤️
It's definitely PINK. lol. I was struggling to get that pink to tone down a little. And that shade worked well. I'm sorry it didn't work for you, I agree though. I am more of a natural eyeshadow girl. These colors look Amazing on others, but not me. Lol. My perfect type of eyeshadow look is what I was wearing in yesterday's video (my Jan Favs). They're are a few I love. Depending on what you like. If you want a little bit of soft highlight, I LOVE the Charlotte Tilbury beauty light wand in peach. If you want a Matte formula, the liquid blushes from Nars are BOMB. I just bought the liquid blushes from Glossier, I've heard several people rave about that formula so I'll be trying that out soon.. Also, Lilah B has a great cream formula that isn't liquid, and works well. Pricey though. Ooooh and I LOVE nudestix. They have such a soft buildable formula ❤❤❤

I was excited to see this video as I LOVE red and pink eyeshadows. I will say I was seriously hoping you were gonna use the red shades....😉 but no worries. You’re right, they don’t always work well with certain skin shades . The darker red you used a bit of looked great. My fav was the first look. Love glitter...yet pink blush that bright doesn’t always look well on m y skin and hair color (very pale and burnished brown with a lot of white) weird but true. I was hoping they’d be available in a store, but haven’t seen it yet. I love the idea you can pop the colors out! Well, great review Tara!

Great review. Agree with you completely about the eyeshadow palette needing a neutral brown. I used this palette this morning and ended up looking like a pink lollipop. Just not my thing at all. Think it’s going to be one of those palettes I always use with a more neutral palette. I ended up using the Scott Barnes Snatural palette to even out the tones a bit and saved having to wash it off! I like the cheek palette, but again, not using it with the eyeshadow palette (too much pink), and never all at once! I used mine with a sponge, but I also used a pore filling primer before foundation so it was pretty smooth. Think I’m going to try mixing it with the Bloom palette to kill the overly pink vibes. So much freaking work!

I really appreciate your presentation. Watching this, I agree it needs browns to tone reds down. I never do monotone colors. I almost always take from two palettes and use browns and neutrals with a pop of color. The cheek palette does not appeal to me.

Tara, I wonder if applying a setting spray over your foundation, would seal/keep separated the base from the cheek colour palette?
It seems to me that this would likely stop the emollients from lifting your foundation.
Also, I haven’t yet looked at what foundation brand you are wearing, but perhaps an ND one would have complimented the cheek palette in that way...? I don’t know 🤷♀️ You have way more expertise in this area than I do, but it did occur to me at the time, and I figured it would be remiss not to mention it.

I have the same problem with hypermigmentation on my cheeks and the TF cream bronzer. The Huda beauty overachiever concealer is the only thing I can lay down under cream products that doesn't move. The concealer was to thick for under the eyes, but it has a great dry down on and staying power under cream products.
I have the bronze palette and blush palette that NDenona previously released... How do you compare this one to the bloom palette? I have light medium skin tone... Thinking based on what you said this may be too light and I'll need too much product for pay off?

Well my ND palettes arrived and I just quickly swatched a few shades in the eye palette and they are pretty but I’ll have to try them on my eye. Now the cheek palette, I’m confused. What is the purpose of the cream product? It looks like a light sheer lip gloss on my skin😳 I use the bloom and the bronze one almost daily. I don’t quite know what to think about this one. I’ll play with it more once I’m settled for the day.

I have aging skin as well and I'm also a darker-skinned black woman. It is always my worry that the shimmer shades are too shimmery and/or ashy. I'm looking at this eyeshadow palette, and it's sitting in my Sephora cart, but I'm still not sure if I really want this, which means that I probably shouldn't get it.
