If you can't fix the joint, you could always have her be an amputee! It's not common to see customs like that because of the broken joint thing, but I think that just makes her more unique!
Maybe make he character have one Arm? I have a doll that's leg broke so I decided that she'd be an amputee.

Allison Rougebelle I've snapped a head peg before by accident. I died inside. Had to buy another mtm body and remove the peg from the inside.
I really like that she has one arm!! There aren't a lot of dolls that acknowledge those kinds of things, so it might be cool to keep her the way she is now.

I wasn't trying to harm for sure ! and I am well over the 20s, what I meant with this commentary is that this hobby can be a bit too perfectionist and "stuck up" and even tho the arm falling off was an accident it can open the door to a doll that isn't "perfect" in the hobby anymore but that doesn't take her beauty and uniqueness.
I am no amputee myself, so I do apologize if my comment was harmful to anyone, but since Andreja was only thinking on repairing her I thought it could be a nice idea to let her be as she is !
You know what? Maybe keep her "broken"? Shes just a little disabled but still very cute. Its endearing in a way.
Maybe before you reattach the arm, you can mod her arm to look like a prosthesis! That'd be really cool - I haven't seen any dolls modded like that before.
I'm so glad you shared this video even with her arm breaking. It shows the reality of customising dolls. I'm looking forward to seeing what you decide to do with her now (either fixing the arm, or leaving her as an amputee)

I hope that you are able to either fix her arm (maybe She has a cast) or are able to make a backstory that is both realistic and relatable for others who are missing an arm (or leg).

Realistic means that it's relatable, fantasy is cool and all but I think realistic is better for this custom. Got that bucko?

The doll represents a character she made, so it being a doll has nothing to do with it being relatable to people. The story is what people can relate to. Have a nice day.

I think maybe have her only have one arm? It'll make her unique? Just sculpt her um... arm to make it look cohesive. You can make her a very unique character and doll!

im kidding but also she's still cute with one arm! You can always roll up the sleeves to show she's an amputee. Also, if you dont want to go that route, simplekidscrafts has a few tutorials on how to fix articulated joints!

Adorable doll! I definitely know how you feel about stiff joints. I have a basic Lagoona who's hand broke off immediately after opening her because it was so stiff. I mean i just think maybe a shark bit it off or something lol but yeah definitely not fun to have a doll break :/

A few years ago i fixed a barbie hand by adding a thin needle into the joints (a hammer helps but be careful). Another idea would be to heaten up a wire (or the needle) and insert it into the arm: ruclips.net/video/AfgsC9KrPjM/видео.html

I had an idea :Take a pin, cut the flat part, use a candle and a heat resistance tweezers to heat the un sharp part of the needle to push it in the joint but not too much, now you have 2 options, (1)heating the sharp point to make a long hole and use glue to attach it to the hole. (2)do the same but. Don't use glue, so the arm is remouvable.
I agree with the people saying you should say that she's an amputee! Not a lot of dolls are like that.

I am not sure because I don't see the joint very well from the video. You may able to replace the broken joint by abs yamaguchi joints (plastic ball joints, some of my friends buy those from hoppy shop to make their actions figure movable) .
:( :( totally bummer! She's such a sweet girl! I can suggest trying either Epoxy or Apoxie Sculpt, even try re-sculpting the joint? There is such thing as plastic welding but I don't think it's as simple as it sounds lol.

So sorry to see her arm snapped. Maybe if you can't fix the joint you could rebody her onto a monster high body. Might be a bit weird with the head proportions but better than giving up on that lovely face a head mold. Hopefully you find a solution. I also really like oversized jumpers especially in winter. Ive been wearing mine all the time this winter.

Oh no! It's pretty concerning that you broke her arm so quickly, particularly when this is a doll intended for play. I hope lots of little kids don't have the same issue! I have yet to break a doll as an adult (knock on wood!!) but as a kid I did once and it was heartbreaking :(
When I first saw the first video I had already seen that she broke so when you said "I like the rigid elbows better" I felt so bad for past Andreja!!!
I like keeping her as is, without the arm... perhaps make a little prosthetic? it could be white with little flower designs on it... or anything cute, really! A lot of extra work though.

Is a body transplant an option? If they are like monster high then there heads aren't to hard to remove.
I tried to remove the head and I could not do it, the vinyl of the head is much thicker compared to MH so even when you soften it in boiling water, it was still too strong and almost broke the neck piece.

maybe you can buy her a replacement arm on ebay, there are a lot of replacement parts for monster high a least

She looks better with colour next to her skin..I like the idea of creating oak dolls that are disabled ,perhaps amputees ..Children would love them if they are like them as all the other dolls are normal bodied 😀

If I may be as bold, I would suggest that you sculpt a feathery wing for her broken arm, it will give her a fantasy feel and reminds me of the story where a princess' brothers become swans and she has so make clothes for them while not speaking a word, during this time she weds a king who lives her but is framed and is about to be burnt when her brothers appear as swans, she throws the shirts at them and they revert completely to human except her youngest brother whose arm remains that of a swan because his shirt was incomplete.
Just blush the joint where it snapped off a bit and say she's an amputee

I couldn't help the wince when her arm broke. I feel for you and I know the feeling because it happened to one of my Azone Girls but it was her foot (she's a Pure Neemo). 😢 I can't fix it because it was a terrible break. I'll be ordering her a new body eventually.
I really like your work... and it inspired me to try to customize my first doll. So I have a question about it .. can I use brash, instead of airbrush to sealing a doll before doing her face?

a way to fix her is to do a body transplantation with a monster high doll's body that maches her skintone
my monster doll neck was broken so i used hot vire to hold it cose glue almost melted the neck
U can maybe do a head swap with the head and put it on a different body. Blow dry the head then after take it off to switch to a new body.
+yasmin abdullah the problem is that I haven't found a body that matches in colour and I also was not able to remove the head because the vinyl of KKH is much thicker than EAH or MH so when I warmed up the head and tried to remove it, it almost broke the plastic part holding the body and head together.
