Despite the movies being hated on very heavily, i think they captured the aesthetic very well and did a pretty good job , they’re my favorite forever and i don’t care what people say
tbh I dont get why they were hated on so much, I mean the was character variation and overall it werent bad series in fact I koved the general aesthetics of the show and the soundtrack and score was my fave it even beats my former love for harry potter lol. I think even back then people seemed to like being quite negative towards movie series or shows cause its easier to spread negativity than positivity.

oh how much I wish we had time machine seriously the 00s was the best as we werent fully intergrated to online lives but we could still socialise enough in person yet we all werent smartphone obsessed unlike in present times. and my fave part of these older series and shows that I used to watch so much is the old tech and general aesthetics of pre internet society, even the fashion is quite pleasing. even music videos nowadays mention or feature smartphones in them so whenever I watch "old" clips like these im like wow how basic those times were.

I moved to Oregon in 2007 Just outta high school in Indiana to go to film school and be with my then online girlfriend who lived in St. Helens OR. Her dad worked outta Vernonia. If you know, thats where almost all of these are shot, including port Angeles. I walked these roads, I saw this filmed, I fell in love, I watched this in the columbia theater which is in the port angeles scene. The pine trees and mountains were fascinating to me. This movie is my late teens and early 20's and Im lucky to still be here, and still be a film maker. There are many days when I look up at the pines and remember twilight, and how the hype for the area then was a bottle of my journey into adulthood.
thats so cool, I love that area of the states as its got so much nice scenery just a shame there seems to be many societal issues in america as a whole. otherwise if I had to pick a state in america to live in I would pick orgeon or washington mainly because cooler weather suits me just fine. I dont think I could cope in a place like florida or california or even arizona.
