      None of these has any veracity : sufficient indications of learning,even cognitive disabilities exist. Not even a good listener except to himself when he's talking,but great at conveying the impression that he's listening,a tactic which works for him on many levels. Never a risk-taker,but alarmingly impulsive because it's combined with obstinacy & an insecurity & low self-esteem which absolutely forbids him from admitting error.

    I have great respect for Modi ji. I don’t believe , joining hands with the corrupt leaders just before the elections was his idea. As the idea has miserably failed in states like Maharashtra and Bengal, will he disclose whose idea it wasand assure the followers that he will distance BJP from those leaders and the corrupt politicians will be sent to jail soon?

    • @agnescraig2912

      Never mind Politicians corruption is a way of life in India. Left India in the seventies to settle in the West corruption at Mumbai airport in the fifties when my mother left was staggeringly bad. Even today in Maharashtra the police shop from the roadside vendors and do not pay those poor ppl. One example and there are millions. The Guest was waxing lyrical about India centric civilisation but 82% below the poverty line, baby production factories in enhanced output.

    • @sunny57jo
      @sunny57jo 3 месяца назад

      @UCpTWPfypevzCb7zQ5x7TRUw Things have changed a lot since you left. For starters, in last 10 years itself, 250 million were lifted out of poverty, thanks to the direct benefit transfer, homes under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, toilets , free gas connections etc. etc. The custom officers can't nag you and taxi drivers can't cheat you because of UBER and Ola. Digitization of economy has helped to reduce the day to day corruption, but there is a long way to go. I feel Modi ji, before retiring can leave a mark in history books by stamping out the corruption totally. I am happy that people of India have not appreciated 'horse trading' and BJP paid heavy price in Maharashtra and Bengal. This is a clear signal, which BJP should take seriously.

      Few things indicate that you have either not heard the entire interview OR that you have a problem with the very word Indic
      75 % of the talk was about bureaucracy and capacity building, and very refreshing ideas abt lateral entry and assessment of bureaucrats, comparison with other country such as UK having 30% of bureaucrats who are part time, and how to increase civilian involvement in governance...etc
      Hence proves you have a self.loathing to Indian culture even on a small.mention of.it...that is, provided you.are from India, and consider yrself.a.bharatiya

    • @govindss27
      @govindss27 3 месяца назад

      @@Spr-no9oy how is lateral entry a refreshing idea? It’s been around for a while now. Also if he is so Indic why is he using a western country like UK as a reference point?
      I am not self loathing, I am 100% Indian & a Hindu but I don’t see the need to package ideas in terms like Indic or ancient knowledge to give them greater legitimacy. Good ideas are good on their merits & bad ideas like authoritarian governance often try to purchase legitimacy by hiding behind cultural glorification.
      Also, his appreciation for Modi’s leadership clearly betrays mood of the nation which has rejected Modi’s ultra aggressive & non accommodative style of leadership & shows that he is one of the many scholars co-opted to give a scholarly basis to BJP’s approach to governance.
