  • Time stamps - accessories 3:50, infantry figures 7:09, officer 18:54, comparison 20:24. Another great release from Joy Toy in their WW2 (world war two) range of 1:18 scale action figures. Both the Soviet infantry and officer figures are great, and showcase Joy Toys new stronger joints.

Awesome figs. Only missing a Mosin nagant (the standard soviet bolt action rifle).
Definitely gonna be getting these to expand my JT WW2 collection. I hope we get British and Japanese next!

Hi! Since we last talked I bought quite a few Joytoy figures and I've got to tell you: I love this brand! When comparing the articulation with other figures from the same scale, these come out on top! But what I particularly like is the paint application, the black wash they have makes them look great! So far I've only bought sci-fi figures, but I've got a feeling that's about to change, and I blame you😉, Cheers mate, an awesome review for some awesome figures👍💫

ALWAYS a good day when a new AAT figure video drops + good to see you actually enjoy the figures ... PEW PEW PEW ! The PPSh-41 Machine gun with the vertical mounted drum ammo is a classic & great to see they included matching ammo pouches. I pre-ordered this set immediately to match my Joy Toy Germans and US WW2 sets. No spare joints means Joy Toy must be more confident with their manufacturing sources. They are not only making VERY impressive figures now (I'm looking at you Hammer of Steel set) but are to be applauded for keeping to a regular release schedule.

As for weapon authenticity, this set is a solid 8/10, main issue is that the rifles should be the Mosin Nagant, but the ones included are called the SVT 40, which was used by the soviets in ww2, it just wasnt their primary infantry rifle

The officer yes, the troopers can do it too, but they have a soft plastic spade / shovel attached to their belts that protrudes lower than their butts when seated. You can bend it or remove it (it's glued on).

Good figures, terrible weapons. PPD-34 is a rarest soviet SMG, it couldn't survive up to 1943 (all figures have shoulder straps). PPSh-41 has a terribly wrong drum. AVS-26 in sniper variant is even rarer, than PPD-34. Bayonet on SFT-40 in wrong place, And machine gun... It is just a joke. All figures have 1936 year backpack (though it sculpted wrongly), but in 1943 our army had a much simpler system. In common - I just cannot understand, how they had did do much mistakes, when there are so many material in internet.
