This is an example that you NEVER know what happens behind closed doors. Amy Slaton and her husband seemed like the "perfect" couple to most people. I wish them both the best since Amy Slaton & her husband Michael Halterman seem like very nice & genuine people from what I've seen on the program.
He's always made me uncomfortable, the episode where gage was crying and fussing and he is just sitting there eating not helping at all.
I truly think he KNEW Amy shouldn't have children after the surgery so soon, as per the Dr & the health reasons. But no, Amy has to be Impatient & get pregnant. Even Michael said in the car " what do you mean you're pregnant? Really?"
In other words, he's thinking if you want kids so bad you're willing to risk your surgery, life , health & possibly the baby's life, you have them to yourself. She has extremely bad health habits, smokes during pregnancy, goes off her diet & excercise & has a very unclean house and environment for herself and kids. I think she's extremely MENTAL, And when ANYONE criticizes her for any reason or tries to give her advise, she breaks down and cries. Cries on EVERY video. She doesn't know what's what anymore. CPS, please take those kids.
Tammy better start walking or get herself an electric wheelchair cause Michael is not pushing her around anymore.

Amy is a beautiful mom and I noticed on the last few shows that her husband was not willingly helpful with the children. So any woman can struggle by herself, one does not need a mate who sees you struggling but continues on with whatever, pretending not to see and hear what's happening nor offering any assistance. So I'm not surprised to hear of the divorce. God bless Amy and her family.

She even talked about how she was never taught how to clean and how embarrassed she was that her house was in the condition it was in. She realized there was a problem and found a solution. That sounds like a wonderful mother to me. She didn’t want her child living in that mess.

I don’t understand why Amy would have to go live with Tammy now that she’s split up with her husband. Why not stay at their house. So I guess Michael will stay there. That doesn’t make any sense at all.

She rushed both pregnancies. Dr Proctor told her not to but she did it anyway. Then she complained nonstop about it. I like Amy and hope she finds someone who helps her and makes her happy. I was surprised they were divorcing.
THEY rushed the pregnancies, and had the boys. I'm sure Amy was just overwhelmed. Michael didn't help. I wasn't surprised; the signs were there.

Amy is a pig. She had the babies when she was told NOT to for a reason. Did she listen? NO! The filtered pics of her & the kids ( if she's so proud of her & the kids looks, post natural pics. She's 36 years old ) She smokes, during and after the pregnancy, dumbass & lazy. She takes 1 stride for goodness then 10 strides backwards. When it's noticed and she's advised of it, she breaks down and cries. Like she's saying have pity on me. CPS take those kids.

DISAPPOINTED in Amy for NOT abiding by Dr Proctors rules for a
2 year wait or a 2 month wait for solid
foods. Tammy knows Amy broke EVERY safety factor on the surgery, dieting & kids. And Tammy knows Amy doesn't care! Remember when Amy called Tammy about the first pregnancy? Tammy's response was " Amy, you know you aren't supposed to eat solid food OR get pregnant for two years after surgery so you can heal."
Amy had NO response.

Apparently Amy. Because Tammy came to her own house when she got surgery and vent tube removed. And when Amy left Micheal she moved in to Tammy's 968 sg ft tiny little house with 2 beds one bath, and now shares it with the 2 children and Amy. So yea Amy wants to be with Tammy 24 /7 cause at least Tammy helps Amy with the children. Something she claims Micheal wont do.

His brother left Amy's sister, Amanda, and now he thinks that the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. Well good riddance, Amy can do better. She has a good disposition, and she's a good Mother. Shame on Michael for leaving her with two little children! NOT the man I thought he was! Disappointing!

He's probably a feeder and isn't happy now Amy is back on track with losing weight again. Also the rate Tammy is going, she won't need as much help either. When they first were together Amy and Tammy lived together and they both needed taking care of so its a huge change. Then not long after Amy started to lose weight, she got pregnant against doctors orders and she went off the diet and then did it again. So I can't help but think he prefers Amy to be a big woman. He's lost interest now she is back on track.

I am by no means defending Michael but he was treated like shit. He had to take care of Tammy and eventually he got annoyed with it and started neglecting his kids and his wife.
