@@1111orion I think it's quite a bit more complicated than that. Bobby is an addict, his girl helped him through a lot of that and stayed with him and helped him when he slipped up. They were in a relationship because of a lot of that and it benefited both of them, but eventually you realize you're really just good friends and not the "one" for each other. I think they still have a similar relationship just they're doing more of their own thing now and no longer romantic, but still best friends. I'm sure Bobby stayed more closed off because it was part of what made them work and his sobriety, but now he's figuring it out mostly on his own.

@@cwm7930 How so? You really think they didn't discuss if drinking and what not was okay before he agreed to do the podcast? If you actually watch podcasts somewhat regularly you'd see that if there's someone sober who can't handle being around people when they're doing drugs or drinking, the hosts don't or they don't have sober people as guests. It's not like anyone in these comedian groups are really trying to hide the fact that they have issues, actually they are fairly open about it all which I think is far more helpful.

I absolutely love Bobby Lee, I love that he seems like he came to a crossroads a few years ago where he had to decide to either play some over the top character all the time and likely be stressed out and depressed, or to open up and let people in, and I'm so glad he decided to open up and be himself, not having to make everything a joke. He seems like such a genuinely nice person, and I get the sense that he noticed so much about people and probably appreciates his friends a lot. He seems like the kinda person everyone wants to be their friend.
I think he really might have been stressed out and depressed. He went throught existential crisis, a big breakup, being incredibly famous before to his career comming to a little bit of a halt and not knowing who his true friends are from the people just pretending to be because he is famous so. I dont think it was an act.

Bobby being the vulnerable sober guy who had pp, shart/fart in his pants dude who didn't know where the hell Koreans came from but had the best Asian jokes, and Bert who's trying to hang out with his guests but also remembering he's shooting a show and can't do both and then makes apparently the best tasting burgers, y'all need to hang out more. 😂

He's so quick that 1/3 of the time other comedians on a podcast don't even catch what he said (probably because they're thinking of their next joke). This happens at least a couple times every time I listen to him in a podcast: Me: "What? that got NO laughs? WTF? Maybe I heard it wrong and it wasn't funny" (REWIND) Me: "Nope, that was funny as fuck. Fuck those other people, they missed it."

-Years ago Schaub tried to sleep with Khalyla while she was with Bobby.
-Schaub thinks that someone at TigerBelly is responsible for the hate TFATK gets on its subreddit, and he has threatened legal action.
-On the Trash Tuesday podcast Annie insinuated that Schaub tried to get her to go to his truck with him while he was married. The podcast takes shots at him but never says he’s name, just that the initials are BS and he isn’t funny.
-Schaub and other comedians called Bobby to tell him to “get his bitch in line” or they will ruin his career. I have no clue who called, but I would assume Bryan Callen was one.

Joe addressed this in a tiny segment, Lex Friedman mentioned Bobby being his fav comic and Papa Joe said he loves Bobby, and that he was aware of the beef. He had talked to Bobby and joe didn't like hearing how Bobby was being treated.

I’ve never laughed so much because of Bobby on any other podcast - something about the awkward moments with mark norman as ice breaker was a perfect combination of guests - fuck yeah this was great
You can see it in Bobby's face so many times when he wants to go into his mock offended crutch to bring the comedy to a screeching halt like usual, but whatever wild shit Mark just said makes him crack up and giggle so hard that Mark can fire out a few more jems to keep the flow going.

I'm going to keep repeating myself lol..... Bobby popping up an all these podcast has become a Healthy coping mechanism in dealing with my own current breakup. It's not a distraction, it's just happy emotions, non stop laughs with someone in the same realm of sense of humor.. Life. Trauma, self deprecation, and just pure unfiltered honesty. I feel seen, and understood in some wierd way. Plus all the good endorphins. Thank you our Handsome Bobo!! Seriously thank you.
