The Spirit and Power of God was everywhere at these shows. I felt the powerful acceptance of a loving God and had to meet Mylon after the show. I will never forget what Mylon told me. He said you MUST stay in the word everyday. The love of God was shared into every heart that attended. You were never the same, it was life changing.

I love Mylon. He taught me so much through his concerts and lyrics. He's the real thing and I'm glad he's with the Lord. Religion is more dangerous than sin. It makes you think you're better than other people. Jesus doesn't do that. He teaches us to be small and let God be great. That's how Mylon was.

As a woman of God that has always loved hard rock, when I got saved in 1986 God used Mylon and Broken Heart to minister to me so much. All these years later I still love that genre, and more importantly I love Jesus.

whoa! i was saved in 1985. I didn't give-up music right away because i didn't listen to the lyrics. One day i was driving with Angie and she freaked-out and explained Aerosmiths "Walk this way" song to me. i stopped listening to secular music that day. Unfortunately i didn't know about Christian rock , so i listened to the country-gospel channel we had in my town.

I saw Mylon on video at the Gaithers' Homecoming. Loved his heart then without knowing too much about him. Recently, for whatever reason, his death announcement showed up on my feed. Wow! His heart registers with my heart's cry - Lord I want to know you, please you, follow hard after you - never mind what "church" I go to. I just want the purity of Jesus and His Word! I'm saddened that the world didn't accept what The Holy Spirit was doing through Mylon at this time. I can tell by his heart that he was used by God and was sold out to Him. Now he gets to enjoy the fruit of his labor in Heaven. Strength and peace to Mylon's family and those close to him. I will be watching all I can on Mylon and Christie's ministry.

What a perfect response to those who criticized him. It’s funny how this isn’t even remotely a topic anymore and some of those ministers were humbled, or at least were at the time. I wonder if some of Mylon’s harshest critics who are in Heaven now, despite their lack of love during this time, were there to welcome Mylon to Heaven a few weeks ago and to apologize to him for their stupidity and blindness! If so, his response was probably, “ Brother, I forgave you when it happened!”

wait..what??? "Mylon to Heaven a few weeks ago"??? He's not dead. Carmen died aobut 2 years ago and Michael Bloodgood died a year ago, but Mylon is still kicking...EDIT:....WHAT???? I HAD NO CLUE "September 8, 2023 (aged 78)" according to Wikipedia. What? I'm trying not to be bummed-out because i know he's happier where he is than here.

Mylon was the real deal. Real because he didn’t proclaim to be perfect. He was a come just as you are minister and shared the gospel and didn’t use it to beat people over the head with it. Swaggart did and look what happened to him.

  • @lizreuber7945

Swaggart criticized Mylon?!?! Wow, probably because Mylon sold more records. Love Lefevre. Will miss. Heaven gained a beautiful one in him.
