Teachers face an average of 7.5 hours overtime each week raising concerns about their workload. Despite the importance of planning time, some schools are attempting to reduce it, or to eliminate it!
Teachers dont get paid for summer breaks and most have to get other jobs to compensate for the loss of pay. Because of budget constraints teachers dont have adequate benefits, healthcare and retirement options. Job security is often an issue, which causes high stess levels and burnout. Providing adequate support for teachers can contribute to overall quality in education of the students
Teacher pay gaps can lead to high levels of turnover, dusrupting continuity, stability and disrupting student learning and hindering academic progress, and forces the school district to spend resources recruiting new teachers

@@RobertZemeckis2025because of the appraisals the homes are now being re appraised all over the country and therefore a home that was taxed that cost you $150 or $300k now coming in at 300k or $650k is going to be taxed much higher.

Both men have their strong points and a vision of how America should be run. Sometimes Trump is a little rough around the edges, but his ideas are sound. But the name calling is ridiculous. They would make a great team if they could get along on a personal level.

How can Flrorida have a surplus without an income tax while California has a huge debt with one? Leaving all other considerations aside, taxing income is economically counter-productive.

I like DeSantis but Florida is harder than ever to live in. He really needs to do something about these insurance companies.
Blame Biden and Trump for that. It's because of inflation, which they both contributed to. Insurance has gone up all over the country, but you are in a very high risk state due to the hurricanes there, which makes your insurance even worse. You might want to consider moving to a lower risk area. Just a thought.
Not everyone can afford to live on the coast, where insurance premiums are sky-high with good reason. Pay off your mortgage and self-insure, if you're not in a flood or coastal zone. I've lived in FL almost 35 years in same house, and never even filed a property insurance claim, because I don't live in those areas.
