Big Country - Bella Fleck (violin cover) by Jaco

This is one of my favorite tunes. It doesn't sound anything like the original version, but this is just me recording accompaniment on my piano and playing over the recording. This is also recorded on my Galaxy s9... In case you were wondering why the sound quality is so low.

I heard the full blown Bella Fleck version and thought “There’s a simple beautiful melody there. Wonder what it would sound like isolated” so I went looking and found you. I’m a beginner but with some practice and watching you a 1,000 times, I might just be able learn this melody. Your playing really warms my heart and the joy you bring to the high part of the middle section (chorus?) rewards me every time I watch it. Sweet, sweet runs. I doubt I will ever hit that high D, I’m rather stuck in first position. But even a blind squirrel can find a nut on occasion so I will learn it anyway. Thank you, young sir. Is that a cockatiel in the background or parakeet?
