Yes we started from Awash. Awash to Semera was about 6hrs and Semera to Djibouti was about 12hrs. Mind you, because of everything that is going on you get stopped by police every 30mins or so. Some open all your luggage so it delays. Also 3 different customs checkpoints that take almost 40mins each. But still better than the route we had to take last year when there was an active war. That was nearly 2 days.
