my older brother passed me the aux cord and said to put on something good. i put this on and all he said was: hell yeah that's my bro. me and him never really hung out or spoke much (due to my mother trying to keep me from my dad's side of the family), so that meant a lot to me. me and him have been hanging out a lot more since then.
Finally! some channel that cares about quality. you should upload the unforgiven 2 & 3, fade to black, nothing else matters, and for whom the bell tolls. (idk if you already have though)
*ATTENTION* These "audiophile" playlist all over RUclips are full of great music and sound pretty good BUT they are NOT hi-res or audiophile quality. RUclips audio maxes out at either 128kbps/44.1khz AAC or most common 160kbps/48khz Opus 251. Most of these playlist are high quality uploads to RUclips but they will be converted and compressed before playback. They do sound nice because Opus 251 is a great codec but not hi-res by any stretch. A standard CD can be up to 1141kbps/44.1khz, potentially much better. Manufactures have miss represented hi-res audio to leverage it as a selling point. In reality there isn't a system on the planet that can reproduce more than 20 or 21 bit audio and 99% of listeners don't have gear that can actually reproduce hi-res or 24bit audio. Its OK these playlists aren't "audiophile" quality, goes to show codecs and compressed audio is getting better and can be very good at convincing most people. Also setting your DAC or Windows audio to 24/192 doesn't auto-magically make all you music hi-res or 24bit. It may sound different and that may seem better to your ears but its not that simple or cheap to properly up-sample audio especially if its RUclips quality. The reason all these playlists sound good is because the initial recording and mastering not because of some ridiculously hi sampling rate.
I see comments like this on a lot of the "FLAC" videos. For the life of me I don't understand why. On one hand this upload is pretty clean in this context, it's hard to argue that, or at the very least I would like a link to a better quality upload here on RUclips. On the other hand any real audiophile would already know everything you pointed out and would not be looking for their fix on RUclips in the first place. So honestly who are these comments directed at? o,O ?

But mostly the person that created the content and is LYING to noobs and clueless people into thinkkng they are getting quality they're not. I've seen videos and have had friends get say a new Topping DAC and have no 24bit audio so they go to a chennel like this and think it the real deal. Or they play music off RUclips with the DAC set to 24bit/192khz and think its the real deal. My comment is to inform, educate, and call out the con man after clicks.

If this is all someone has then the quality is better than most on RUclips and if a given individual chooses to invest in a good set of cans and get into the audiophile lifestyle they will quickly learn that RUclips just doesn't measure up. For example, I am not an audiophile, but I do like good quality music enough to get a Senheiser HD 559 and search out channels like this on RUclips and for the moment that's good enough for me. I don't have a fancy sound card, no fancy equalizing software, my cans did not cost 500 dollars and I'm not paying real money for real lossless music. I happen to be aware that if I want better quality music that it's out there and maybe I'll do that someday. But it's funner to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. If this is the best that one has ever experienced than that's worth something isn't it? Especially for the price tag. But as long as I have your attention if you happen to know of a site where I can hear better quality music for free on demand I'd love a link, or even just a name. It doesn't matter... I always think that Metallica sounds great even on the shittiest of sources or players. The tone of their instruments (their signature sound) is set up and chosen in a way that they aren't overlapping, they just complement each other and you can always hear them clear.
