So weird that the fast running Neon power has a sniper ability while the flying/aerial Video power has the automatic shooting ability. I feel like they should be swapped based on characteristics tbh.
I wish this game had more of an rpg element allowing you to heavily specialize in your preferred element and make them far more unique playstyle wise rather than making each element have the same basic layout (dash, melee, shot, grenade, misile, ult). It would be interesting to see players have to decide which elements they want to make overpowered via skill points instead of allowing each element to be equally mediocre. Something like video centering around you creating different kinds of minions to fight for your in battle and neon centering around quickly moving between enemies and delivering strong blows and smoke being a more aerial, explosive playstyle with the player carpet bombing enemies while hovering above them on a cloud of smoke.

I was wondered what if there was a conduit with Glass powers and how would it work, I'd imagine their attacks don't hit very hard against hard surfaces but deal enormous damage to fleshy targets. Movement work be like warping around, allowing you appear from anywhere.
yeah that would be dope. like if they could refract light into a rainbow effect kinda like a chameleon. and have the ability to concentrate light for a heat beam or be able to mirror abilities or do illusions
I love this game a lot, it was my second PS4 game I owned. The memories I have with this game will always be cherished. Smoke and Concrete are my favorite powers!.
First, I know this may be a rumor but I hope it's not one. But there's a new Dev team that's working on a new Sly Cooper and Infamous game. Second, I agree that if they made the new Infamous game online multiplayer. It would be amazing because we could use these powers or any power we can choose. But I do know if that does happen. The devs will make sure to limit us so we don't go overboard with the powers. Third, I think online multiplayer and character customization would be a better concept for the game. The game stays as an open world RPG. But they add in the CC and OM elements as well. Fourth, if it had CC then you'd be able to create your own conduit. Which means you can give them their own power, change their appearance, and do other changes. This would make the game cool as FUCK in my opinion. Fifth, if the game had the OM feature as well. That would make the game a lot more fun. Because if they add in both om and CC that's opening more possibilities. Sixth, because if the game is om you'll be able to play the game's story with your friends. If the devs do make the game om. I hope they make it 1-5 players. Last, the ideas I suggested would make that Infamous game absolutely amazing. If it had those four elements within the game. That would be a wonderful game to play especially if you can create your own Conduit with their own power as well. 😍😍😍😃😃😃
@@LordOfDragons4122 imagine if you had a very complex karma system, I dont know if you watch, but very similar to fire force, where u can have powers being the "cop", and have power being the "bandits". imagine if you could have your own squad hideout you could actually buy and upgrade in game map, or have a cop and bandits warehouse for each of them, or both. Imagine if you could have 2 powers at the same time, and choose from heavy to light attacks and what not. This game has so much potential. but I dont know... at the end it would be a lot of PVP, and ppl would get bored of it.
@@ImFlashPT First, what do you mean by imagine if you had a "very complex " karma system? The karma system within the games isn't that hard to understand. It depends on the deeds you do within the game. Second, The karma system in Infamous goes like this. Good deeds you're seen as a hero and bad deeds you're seen as a villain. Third, I've seen the anime fire force but from what I've seen from it. All the characters only use Fire based powers. Which in a game where you have a guy who can absorb any power. That would get kind of boring having only fire as your power. Fourth, you're going to have to explain what you meant by this. "Where u can have the powers of a "cop" and have the power being the "bandits." Because I don't understand that at all. Fifth, As for the your own squad hideout that would be kind of boring. Which I'll explain later on in my reply so you're not confused. Sixth, As for your idea about having your own hideout. I'll explain why later on how that could get boring. But as for having a squad that would be easier to do. Because you could have up to 1-4 or 1-5 players for the game. Seventh, I'll explain this so it's less confusing for anyone else. But I think having a warehouse for bandits, cops, or both. That would get boring and repetitive due to one reason. Eighth, if the does added in the Warehouse idea. It would most likely be to gather up blast core or New gear. But there's a slight problem with your OG idea. Ninth, if you go to a new location and find a warehouse. You would've had to unlock it and it could get boring and repetitive. This also goes for adding in safe houses as well. Tenth, the idea is good but it could get boring fairly quickly. Plus most people don't like running around to unlocking safe houses in order to fast travel lol. Eleventh, your idea about wielding two powers is good. The only way that could work and it's easy. But that's if the devs make the game online multiplayer and character customization. Twelfth, if you don't know what character customization is. That's where the game allows you to create your own character while customizing what they look like. Thirteenth, I agree this game did have potential but it was rushed. Your idea on how the game would get boring if it were PVP. The idea wouldn't make sense for an Infamous game due to one reason. Fourteenth, because of how people would complain about two things. They would complain about not exploring the open world and they would complain about how infamous is an Elden ring clone lmao. Fifteenth, I'd like to point out another thing as well. It depends on how the PVP would work in the game. I'll explain that and your other points within my next paragraphs. This will go with what I said earlier as well. Sixteenth, as I said earlier and this is about safe houses. The main reason why going around the map and unlocking new safe houses would be boring. Seventeenth, that's because it will remind players of other games similar to that mechanic. The games that have that mechanic are: far cry, Tom Clancy's The division, and Tom Clancy's wildlands/breakpoint. Eighteenth , your idea about wielding two powers that's a good idea. But as I said earlier it would only work if the game was CC. Nineteenth, if the devs made an Infamous game with these four mechanics. Then the game would be a lot better as well. The four mechanics are as follows: open world, an rpg, character customization, and online multiplayer. Twentieth, I believe if the devs did make the game that way. The game would have a limit on what can or can't be used as a power. That way people don't go overboard with powers. 21st, if you created your own conduit that had lightning and fire as your powers. The game could possibly tell you these things. You could use your lightning powers or your fire powers. Last, But you'd have to unlock the other power in order to use it. That would acquire you to progress through the story to unlock it. That's why I'm saying your point about it makes sense. But it only makes sense if they made it work by having the game be CC.
@@eugenekrabs6400 Town and cities maybe. Then you gotta break it up. It could just be mortar and asphalt then too. For smoke and fire all you need to do is carry a lighter around. The only place in the world you're SOL is the ocean.
@@bakedcrystal915 It's only practical in places where people live. Need digital devices and electricity. It's not gonna help you if you're in a wooded area, forest, desert, the outback. Even if it showed us him getting new powers at the end of the evil ending. First, Delsin has power absorption as his main power. So it makes sense for him to have different powers. Second, but since it showed us at the end of the evil ending. That he was absorbing new powers and yes that's cool. But I think it was lame due to a few reasons. Third, the reason why we weren't able to use the other powers. Because they were probably saving those powers for a different game. Fourth, the game was good but they rushed it. Because if any of you paid attention to the end game. Eugene said that all of the core relays he found were the only ones he could find. Fifth, which that's false due to Eugene telling Delsin earlier he was tapped into the dup communications. Last, I'm pretty sure as the guy who does CinemaSins. I'm pretty sure he's going to be correct and they're going to go for the good ending of Infamous Second Son. Which in case anyone didn't know Nate Fox planned for Infamous Second Son to take place after the evil ending of Infamous 2. But he clearly thought people could read other people's minds. Because he expected everyone who played the game to choose the evil route 🙄🙄. Then he got disappointed when the percentage for the hero route was higher than the evil route 🙄🙄.
for a 2014 game these graphics aged REALLY well. If someone told me this game released back in 2017/2018 i'd believe them. It was ahead of it's time graphic-wise.
My Ranking of the Powers From Least Liked to Most Liked: 4. Concrete - The thing about Concrete in my opinion is it would've been a lot more enjoyable if we got it earlier in the story. For one thing; its passive damage resistance is very handy, especially on higher difficulties, and with the way that I play any sandbox game (I full clear all side objectives before doing the main story) it meant that once I beat the game I didn't really have much of a reason to use it. Not only that but it's also extremely barebones in its upgrade tree and the lack of an Ult definitely made it feel slapped on at the last minute. 3. Smoke - For the first (and arguably most iconic) power of the game it's very middle of the road for me. It does what it does well enough, but the parts that drag it down for me are the basic projectile attack and the dash. The former has this weird fizzle out animation (which is kinda understandable in a way) that makes your shots miss even when you have the cross hair right over what you're aiming at and the latter (from what I recall of the game as it has been a while since I played it) has this cooldown after like three dashes which can make getting from point A to B a bit tedious 2. Hero Video/Infamous Neon - Both Video and Neon as a whole kinda vie for my favorite power in general, because I love the aesthetic of the Video powers and how you can summon angels and demons to fight for you as well as you get a more visually distinct melee animation depending on your morality (a sword as a Hero and claws as Infamous) as opposed to the other powers which basically just gives a more reddish tint to the animations. On the other hand I love Neon because of both its instakill/subdue mechanic and its Ult is (arguable) the coolest and most useful in game 1. Hero Neon/Infamous Video - I didn't talk much in #2 about when I ranked them as I did, let me explain here: the reason for these two being in my #1 boils down to one thing: Traversal. As I briefly mentioned in Smoke getting from point A to B can be a bit tedious in the game, at least until you unlock a good number of fast travel points, and these two powers are the most useful for traversing the city. Hero Neon because the Endless Sprint upgrade allows you to simply hold the circle button as opposed to have to press it over and over and with how it basically just keeps going without any left stick input makes it great for lazy people like me. Infamous Video takes this spot because, as mentioned, Endless Sprint is a Hero only power (which I think sucks) and as such it leaves Video as the best evil power for getting around the map
suckerpunch really is a underrated studio and managed to give me my favourite games like Sly cooper, Ghost of Tsushima etc ,and the infamous series and I'm looking forward for new games or returning titles to play
My *opinion* : 1. Neon 2. Video 3. Smoke 4. Concrete >Neon is the first because of how useful it is in almost all fights. In low health , you can just light speed on to rooftoops. The travel is also pretty easy since you can just speed past all obstacles and enemies. Melee could've been better but still considerably useful. Light Focus and Radiant Sweep are my most used attacks. Lots of sources. >Video is the next due to it's extreme coolness of how it looks and INVISIBILITY. Very useful to grind karmic streaks. (I played the Hero Delsin most) ; Bloodthirsty Blades are just the best. The gliding is very cool but would've loved an infinite flight like infinite light speed. Melee is pretty good on most dup agents except the bald ones. Hellfire storm is also very powerful. This places behind neon due to hard to find sources. >Smoke is a classic and the stepping stone. Perfect melee , perfect ranged attacks. But the Orbital Drop is no match for Radiant Sweep and Hellfire Storm. But it does have the best animation. Another problem is smoke dash ; you just can't smoke dash after getting used to neon. >Concrete is a MAJOR LETDOWN. I expected a lot but was dissapointed. The sources are a bit tough but can be easily found. As a good karma player , this was too strong for me. It killed almost anyone with one shot. The melee is very heavy but takes time to attack. Concrete barrage is the only thing that wanted me to switch to this. Concrete also misses an ultimate attack. *But , tbh all of them are really enjoyable and as a first time inFamous player ; I was in for a ride. To this day I want shoot cameras with my imaginary smoke powers in public. "Peeping toms.." as my friend here would quote.*

I miss this game, I really do. I hope they make another, bigger one. The only problem with the game that I found was that once you beat the story, it felt like there was almost nothing to do. Esp if you were good and not evil, because you couldn't go around killing people. So I found that I would just wander around and play pretend when I was younger, lol. And that’s not to say Infamous 1 or 2 are bad, I really like both of them as well. I’m just a Sly Cooper diedhard and those games got a tad too gritty for my liking. Delsin’s story was a lot more relatable and a tad more lighthearted, so I related a bit more to it as an artist in college.
@@simban1918 hopefully they might be working on a new infamous tho they probably are switching things around completely in my opinion but I new infamous game would be cool
Off the top of my head I can think of two supers for concrete: 1: Simply you either have nearby enemies sink down into the street or sidewalk or you have concrete caccons rise up to over take nearby enemies. Those caccons can also impale ground vehicles, causing explosions. Good Karma would have those caccons open back up after a short while with the enemies inside restrained afterward. Bad Karma would have the caccons either remain as they were or sink into the ground, trapping those inside for good. 2: You create a spiraling set of rings that circle around you at incredible speeds, going on until the point where they almost incase you. Then at the brink, you shoot out the concrete from these rings in a large blast of shrapnel, eradicating those nearby and vehicles. For good Karma, the concrete just traps those it hits. Bad Karma, the shrapnel kills on impact, it can even impale those close to walls. 3 (bonus): Literally just the ability the final boss uses. Become a giant concrete monster for like...15 seconds or so.
Ah the wave of nostalgia hit me, I always loved talking about this game. I really hoped they'd make a PC version, I would play it so much! Till this day I wished I bought the jacket 😂
The powers are great, but it sucks that concrete is the only one that doesn’t have an ultimate. I don’t know if this counts as something left out of the video, but there’s the thing with good karma and bad karma.

When I first beat the game I was exited to get concrete but it turned out to be kind of a let down it doesn’t even have an ultimate attack so I’m still sticking to smoke
This game is everywhere i go, when i went to a pharmacy they had 3 of these.... and then i went to walmart where they had 10 of theses on a single clearence shelf for 9 bucks, still a great game
I need the powers in this next game to be 10/10 on creativity, on style, or uniqueness on story and personality elements, everything. I want the powers to have so many upgrades and options that you basically have to equip them. I want the powers to be chosen through Karma like in the second Infamous game. I like the idea of having multiple powers, but that's Delsin's thing. However if they can pull off that sort of power swap mechanic in this next game, like they did in Infamous 2? and maybe have a group of Conduit's who swap powers with each other and have a sort of hub system of multiple character system? I'd buy it 10 times over.

I love how none of the powers are mainstream superhero power stuff and it's done well
Agreed
I was wondered what if there was a conduit with Glass powers and how would it work, I'd imagine their attacks don't hit very hard against hard surfaces but deal enormous damage to fleshy targets. Movement work be like warping around, allowing you appear from anywhere.
probably like a shot gun effect for the ranged weapon since the other ranged attacks don't really support close combat.
yeah that would be dope. like if they could refract light into a rainbow effect kinda like a chameleon. and have the ability to concentrate light for a heat beam or be able to mirror abilities or do illusions
@@kaelkirkby9191 smoke charged attack
@@qw8277 Good point. I forgot that existed
imagine if the conduit could make Glass dust..
One of the few Open World games that I've 100% the entire map (except for the achievements) I have always been a fan boy for the Infamous series
one of the best exclusives of all time for sure. a masterpiece.
I love this game a lot, it was my second PS4 game I owned. The memories I have with this game will always be cherished. Smoke and Concrete are my favorite powers!.
Sad that they didn't ever make another one, a multiplayer game with these sort of powers would be amazing

One of my all-time favorite games and the first I ever played on my PS4. It's a crime that this hasn't gotten multiple sequels already.
Smoke's definitely the most real world practical. Just absorb all the smoke and fire you create 💁🏻♂️🔥
sustainability : )
The digital one would be much more practical.
But concrete is everywhere
@@eugenekrabs6400 Town and cities maybe. Then you gotta break it up. It could just be mortar and asphalt then too. For smoke and fire all you need to do is carry a lighter around. The only place in the world you're SOL is the ocean.
@@bakedcrystal915 It's only practical in places where people live. Need digital devices and electricity. It's not gonna help you if you're in a wooded area, forest, desert, the outback. Smoke and fire is a power source you can literally create anywhere in the world (not the ocean). Whole lotta world that isn't populated with people, ya know.
Dude, the evil ending of this game was so cool. He gets many different abilities, too bad we can't see and use it.
Yeah I always wondered what the other powers he received were..prolly got electricity in there like Cole and an Ice power too
@@reallyhimongod there should have been paper power, but devs thought that this is too much
@@firered1017 They could've at least create an ultimate for the Concrete power
@@Jarubimba I think that was because of the rushed development, so they scraped any alternative karma abilities and it’s ultimate.
I’m glad people are keeping this game alive on the internet
for a 2014 game these graphics aged REALLY well. If someone told me this game released back in 2017/2018 i'd believe them. It was ahead of it's time graphic-wise.
The particle effects in this game look amazing ngl
My Ranking of the Powers From Least Liked to Most Liked:
The former has this weird fizzle out animation (which is kinda understandable in a way) that makes your shots miss even when you have the cross hair right over what you're aiming at and the latter (from what I recall of the game as it has been a while since I played it) has this cooldown after like three dashes which can make getting from point A to B a bit tedious
2. On the other hand I love Neon because of both its instakill/subdue mechanic and its Ult is (arguable) the coolest and most useful in game
Neon hero and villan has the same power in sprint, trust me, I played infamous second son 10 time.
suckerpunch really is a underrated studio and managed to give me my favourite games like Sly cooper, Ghost of Tsushima etc ,and the infamous series and I'm looking forward for new games or returning titles to play
Ghost is a masterpiece
I’ve always loved this game but wow looking at years later it’s amazing and the city designed too🤙🏾
My *opinion* :
1. Neon
2. Video
3. Smoke
4. Concrete
>Neon is the first because of how useful it is in almost all fights.

The biggest plot in this game series is not getting the paper power😢
I miss this game, I really do. I hope they make another, bigger one.
The only problem with the game that I found was that once you beat the story, it felt like there was almost nothing to do. Esp if you were good and not evil, because you couldn't go around killing people. So I found that I would just wander around and play pretend when I was younger, lol. I think I was about 9 or something when I played this.

This game has so much charm and style to it. Really enjoyed Second Son’s vibe and characters a lot more than Cole’s games.
Hopefully they're gonna make a new one for ps5 🙏
They are working on a Game . But its probably a new ip and not a new Infamous
@@simban1918 hopefully they might be working on a new infamous tho they probably are switching things around completely in my opinion but I new infamous game would be cool
Off the top of my head I can think of two supers for concrete:
1: Simply you either have nearby enemies sink down into the street or sidewalk or you have concrete caccons rise up to over take nearby enemies.
This game still looks great. Way better than games releasing today.

A pvp mode where you make your own conduit would cool asf
