- Another polymer clay dog sculpt by myself using simple techniques. Fimo soft white clay was used then coloured in with pastels.

THANK YOU for sharing this. After applying the pastels and baking, is there some water-based sealant or varnish?
You can seal it with a matte Varnish, DecoArt make a good brand of matte Varnish :)
Cotswold Characters..I took your advice and completed my clay dog..Unfortunately we just recently had to put our dog down. My brother was hoping we could wait till after Christmas but it wasn’t best to make Rio wait that long. So I think this will be the perfect gift to my brother!! What clay do you use?
Are these powder pastels? I am starting to learn how to do this, do you apply it before you bake?
Hi! Yes apply to the clay before baking. My advice is slowly build up the colour bit by bit :)

This one was Fimo soft. But I prefer super sculpey now :)

Great vid and music but went from putting back legs on center blob to dog head already on body...missed the best part! 😁👅🐶
How do you get the snout to be so beautiful, mine keep coming out looking like a pig
I really studied dogs noses. They aren't simply just 3 holes. They have slits at the sides of the nostrils too. I highly recommend looking at some close ups of dogs noses :) x

I don't use oil paints on polymer clay hun only acrylic. You can dry the paint quicker by using a hairdryer ❤

I didn't use paint on this sculpture. Just fimo soft and soft pastels for colour. Brushed on before baking
