Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds of Boneless Chicken Thighs
Salt and Pepper to taste as shown..
1 1/2 Cup All Purpose flour
Peanut oil
Prepare as shown...

Peanut oil is the key to the BEST fried chicken!!!! It complements the seasonings in the flour! It's why chick fil a's chicken is sooo good, thy are one of the only fast food chains that fry with peanut oil!! ❤️
Made these tonight and received rave reviews!!! Chicken was so tender and juicy, the breading was seasoned perfectly! Will definitely make these again!

Tom, I never know for sure the proportion of seasonings to flour but you answered that question for me! 1 teaspoon each of salt, pepper and garlic powder to 1½ cups of flower! I'll never forget this now! Your buttermilk-Sriracha marinade made me salivate like Pavlov's dog! What an amazingly scrumptious fried chicken sandwich! Great job my friend!

Lol! I pretty much did this exact same thing before coming in you tube, my chicken in marinating now. I didn't have butter milk, but I had sour cream, mixed it with some milk and even though in a little buttermilk ranch dressing, seasoned it up . Now it's sitting. Great minds think alike. I used what I had and making it work .
The best part of the video is Beethoven's Symphony No. 5. Nice.

I guess it's to each his own but I've cooked professionally for more years than I care to remember and I find it quite different that you would cook these thighs without trimming the fat off first ?
I use a plastic grocery bag to bread stuff like that. It is much easier and the breading is complete every time. Also, that flour can be used to make the gravy, I think you've mentioned that in other videos. I love those boneless thighs and stock up when my grocery has them.

i like to cut em up and make tacos with the leftovers. sometimes ill make regular ones with salsa and beans etc. and sometimes ill replace beans with mashed taters and the salsa with gravy. it's pretty good especially after a f ton of alcohol.

Can I use any other type of flour???
Besides what you added to the flour. Add a teaspoon of Italian seasoning, a teaspoon of sage. Cook the thighs till almost done, then pour off the oil and add butter and garlic powder to the pan and return the chicken and finish in the butter/garlic sauce. I guarantee you've never had better.

Tom! One of favorite foods on earth and I use the thighs too! I just made some the other night but of a little bit less quality. I never have any darn buttermilk in the house when I need it. But I can't let that stop me when I want fried chicken. Tom, I love fried chicken so much I actually dream about it at night. Those are sweet dreams for sure. Many thanks for sharing this great meal!

What a unique idea to add hot sauce to the buttermilk! Chicken thighs are so good. I hate to see great chicken recipes wasted on dry, pretty flavorless breast meat.

3 to 1 sour cream to milk if you don't have butter milk. And you don't have to wait like if you were to mix milk with a acid, like lemon juice or vinegar.
