Kalyan Chaubey avoided roughly all the questions and instead of giving direct and to the point answers he diverted from the questions and gave diplomatic answers (which are indirect in nature). He is a politician is proved... I hardly expect any development of Indian Football from his side

Very immature answers as a prez. of AIFF. Smartly he gave round answers bcoz he knw he can't speak truth. His strategy is " if you can't convince them, confuse them"....
This will not work as public knows everything now about their corruption and stupid plans. All top brass of aiff shud be replaced. That vijayan after Kuwait match was saying we should br happy that match is drawn.

Good take by Kalyan Ji. The point he put forth had a nuanced takeaway, if you think he made sense on most the question.
Since he is part of the central government, he should have asked for more funds.
From the looks of it, State FAs don't listen to AIFF. Which is main root cause of all problems. Don't know what could be done.
That's what I've been trying to tell people who blindly ask the president's resignation. He can do little to make individual state FAs work. My state can be a goldmine of talent i.e, Uttarakhand if our state FA was even 10 percent more competent.

First, we need to improve our national league system, playing 12 matches or 20 matches for 2 or 3 months will not help. 2nd live telecast system is worst in our country specifically in football which is the main drawback that hold back to generate financial support, 3rd citizenship issues for players who are living outside India, 4th investors we all know why. 4th lack of awareness program (we must organise awareness program specifically for parents)

Why don't we focus on tie up with schools? Identify talents from class 4 or 5, then get the most talented (5k-10k entire india) player by age 11 to a hybrid school + academy model like la masia.
Many can become tier 1 or tier 2 players here, some can in foreign league. Some who flop, can chose coaching, analytics, etc. Just organise a system where these hyper talented players have some kind of job security and see how the influx of application happens..

Can you please ask him some questions from my side if you speak to him again.
1. Why is AIFF not taking control of ISL along with other footballing events?
2. We know that the TV right is the maximum source of income in running a football game. How can FSDL earn when JIO is the TV partner ?
3. What is the use of appointing a foreign football coach with huge amount of salary when we know the maximum or rather optimum potential of our present Indian probable of 50 players.
4. Why AIFF is not spending on scouting football players across India. If you give charge to senior Indian players who have retired will not work. Because there will be nepotism at some point or other. You will have to appoint some brilliant brains from IIMs or IITs. If Google can hire Sundar Pichai there's many more like him available in this country who can do this job if paid accordingly. So don't go for ego that since you have played football you know football better than others.
For now this much. If I get some other chance I may ask for more questions about the implementation of certain road map of improving football in India.
