I have already watched over 50 videos from Indian analysts insights about Bangladesh current unrest. Unfortunately all of them analysed aggressive way and they simply explained things as if they’re representative of Hasina’s Party Awami League. And they don’t even have 20% of knowledge about Bangladesh socio economic condition. Compare to that Mr Pankaj Saran analysis is much better, liberal, and seems he knows socio-economic conditions and public pulse much better than others. But one thing misinterpreted in the video about torture on Hindus. Sheikh Hasina ruled Bangladesh for 15 consecutive years as a dictator and her party Awami League men literally controlled and tortured opposition and mass people. Obviously people had anger on them. Some Hindu Awami League Leaders also there and after Hasina departure, all Awami League people came under attack including Majority Muslims and some Hindu Leaders. Whereas non political Hindus are safe and well, rather in most temple now guarded by mass Bangladeshi Muslim people in absence of police. Also over 1000 people got killed in few week’s long violence in Bangladesh and 99% of them are Muslims, But the way you guys are explaining as if violence intend to Hindus only.
Fantastic comment! Be vigilant about crucial interest of the Nation, don't let anyone hijack this historic n noble people Revolution for that thousands of students and people sacrifice their lives for the betterment this country! Best wishes

In the very morning of Aug 5, the army of Bangladesh took a decision that they wouldn't able to shoot their own people chest. In terms of the demonstration above 3 million people in the roads of the capital, if army shooted and even instigated somehow, the huge amount of people could die when over thousands of people have been already killed by police and RAB. So, it was a role of Bangladeshi army. They love their country and respect their people's opinion as they evolved and originated from the great liberation war of 1971.
Dear brother, Bangladesh is not in crisis, Bangladesh has overcomed overcome the crisis, the biggest crisis for Bangladesh is the dictatorship of Sheikh Hasina, and disproportionate interference of India in the every sector of Bangladesh. Now Bangladesh turn about and move forward.
Shut up your illiterate mouth Bangladeshi, the "disproportionate" interference is nothing but your stupidity that has no cure. Stop blaming India for your own inability to govern your own country!
That 'disproportionate interference' is why B'desh grew rapidly economically under Shiekh Hasina... so many infrastructure projects, business opportunities, water concessions and soft loans etc given to B'desh by India... it is fair for India to expect things in return...esp in terms of our security concerns vis-a-vis terrorists sanctuaries, drug and cattle running, space to chinese etc. and also protection to Hindus in B'desh... If the new dispensation goes back to pre-Hasina policy of B'desh towards India, the net loser will be the people of B'desh... its really the call of the new regime in B'desh now...

The hindus of Bangladesh usually involves with the politics of Awamileague, BNP and so forth. They get economic benefit, political convenience and show power over the years against opposition and even they involve to torture their fello religious community and others. When their political party are thrown out the government, they face political vandalism. It is the reality of the both sides Awamileague and BNP supporters but Indian media and some people project it like the way of communalism. Though it is political vandalism
Has there been an engineered and structured regime change facilitated by exogenous forces ? If that was indeed the case , what will be the future thrust from those agencies ? What were their investments expected to lead to as lasting returns ? What will be their overt or covert control over the ensuing regime ? That is a critical question people are avoiding to ask since it is not evident who the possible puppeteers are . One remembers what happened post Arab Spring. So it is crucial to grasp the sort of compact that other political forces will have to enter into with the Islamist groupings whch are now international in their reach and ideological convictions. All other discussions are peripheral. This area will become a key geopolitical theater . That is our worry.
India's problem is they always predeterminently think that I Awami League is their friend. So consecutively three times a l came into power with the only support from India. India has to come out of this mindset. India has to develop a people to people relationship, Institute of a partishan relationship. It should be a Win-Win situation always. Then only it will be sustainable. Again Bangladeshi Hindus also think that they are safe in the hand of Awami League. But this is not true. That's why they always support and do Awami League politics. So when thete is a regime change Hindus become easy target not for their religion but for their political viewpoint and allegiance.
In entire discussion one most important factor is ignored ....why and who orchestrated this landslide event. And what is likely play . If it's USA, what is the purpose ? They wish to create unstable territory to keep India & china .
Jamaat never got more than 5 percent vote in any election. This guy clearly has no idea what he is talking about. Based on what is he saying Jamaat has more popularity than BNP.
What he is saying Jamat is more organized, modern , educated compared to BNP, who is an emotional party and don't have an institution of democracy within the party, similar to Awami league.
Talking about Jamat helps their agenda. Helps them to establish the presence of Islamic radicals which will provide them some leverage on establishing that extremists are there.
This time done with less violence is he blind and deaf over four thousand students was killed by pro India gavorment of hasina it was done with indias help
Dude how is she pro India, why isn't she pro china. You students were trying to violently overthrow her govt and what were you expecting the Govt and police to do, how should they have responded to the violence. India could have only advised behind closed doors and I am sure the India govt should have done that. As any public statements would have seriously inflamed the atmosphere especially when many Indians work there and Hindu community living there. This would also have serious implications for the Indian govt back home.
India has been seen to only cared about Hasina as India is hosting a leader who had committed horrif8c crimes against his own people. India to handover Hasina to be charched for crimes committed under her watch and on her own orders. Bangladesh in my believe will submit formal request to India to repatriate Hasina to be charged for crimes against humanity. Bangladesh will not ask India for a bail out but instead it will ask to handover Sheikh Hasina.
Let me correct your opening statement. The country to our east. Bangladesh is celebrating a new birth after the fall of dictorial regime of Sheikh Hasina. Her demise comes after she decided to violently attack students for a peaceful protest killing more than 300 people in 14 days.

India should stop treating this revolution as a revolution that led by jamaat-BNP. That hurt us sharp. We need Indian support and India should stop blindly supporting Hasinas family and Awami League
I am glad that the Bangladesh peace process has begun, and maybe the military be work in tandem with BNP, and Jamaat-a-Islam,etc Let us hope that,in a now post -Awami League era, the powers that be could stich together, a cohesive, reliant, resilient and strong government With due respect to Ms.Hasina, I wish she should have resigned before the 2024 elections, and handed power to her second-in-command in the league This stratagem would not only be face-saving for her,and keep her as de jure leader Look, 15 years is a very, very time in politics and Hasina Madam should have taken the call when it sounded.Nobody can stay in politics forever
Hasina's way of thinking is similar to her father's , both were tyrants & mass murderers & Ironically both regimes were thrown out in the same month 😂 . She & modi has destroyed the Ind-BD relationship . An entire generation will now look at Ind as the country which has blindly backed her murderous Regime
You can blame modi for that Blunder , backing a mass murderer & illegal regime . India had good relationship with the dictator/party rather than the people
Hindu fundamentalist (BJP) killing all minorities especially Muslim! In India! Shame on you Indian trying to lecture Bangladesh. INDIAN can see & learn from Bangladesh how to protect minorities when they are in crisis! Thousands of people stand guard together.... Protecting minorities.
India should throw out the criminal who committed genocide a vicious Dictator Shekh Hasina. Or arrest her and send back to Bangladesh. Sheltering her in india is putting india and Bangladesh relationship questionable. India should be friends with Bangladeshi nations interests and well being , not be friends with a criminal who destroyed the democracy in Bangladesh and committed genocide and fled .
That's your internal issue. You don't have proper democratic institutions and power is highly centralized. So, in absence of federal structure whoever is in power will always behave as a dictator.
Some of the policy decision contributed to the fall of Hsina government. For example, not signing Tista water sharing treaty even after assurance of several times from Mr. Modi. Secondly , india's objection on a proposed Tista water management and development project with Bangladesh and China joint venture.

@@ds9510 - it was all the British divide and rule who did this , else until then people lived largely ok next to each other
@@ds9510I think he means militarily we should have not allowed this division. We could have always pushed the special population to go to there homeland on west like what happened at other places of india

You guys need to do something about your sound. The intro music is 4x times louder than the interview itself.
I am a Bangladeshi....And I liked what Mr. Pankaj Saran said.....Very accurate observation and some great advices. Thanks. I really believe that India can help Bangladesh grow. I hope, our Indian brother, sisters will help us to restore democracy, grow together and prosper.....India and Bangladesh would always stay together, I hope. We have the same cultural, history and even appearance. Only our geography is different.
Hindus are being targetted?
@@mylord3003 EVERYONE is being targetted!!! I have a couple of Hindu friends and acquintances. None of them has been assaulted!!!
I am not religious myself. And I am in my fourty. I have seen this 'hindu-muslim' danga propaganda being brought by some selfish groups/institutions, who work for their own agenda of using 'divid-and-rule' technique among all.
After a revolution, there will be problems with law and orders. It is normal. In my country, there are some looting. The looters are muslims and the victims are muslims, too. And may be, some hindus, too.
Both muslims and hindus are affected by the revolution and it is the nature of the revolution around the world. Unfortunately, some political grounds, miscreants, goons are taking advantage of this and spreading propaganda.....
U r one in a million, may u r progressive tribe increase
Saran didn’t talk about what Hasina did last 15 years and what role was India last 15 years . India always play a role as big brother which Bangladeshi people don’t like.
One good realistic discussion which is very rare from India. Take love! ❤
Thanks to mr Pankaj Saran for a balanced assessment on Bangladesh.
Forget about Bangladesh, worry more about the future of India and its integrity.
Only aaptards and dhongressis think this way.

So no mention of the Jamat and American hand ehh..?
BTW, the asset army just woke up and decided to through Hassina out on that perticular date right... The date has no significance..?
It’s throw Hasina not through 😂😂
Beurocrats & media are careful not to mention america 😂 you know that hurts post career prospects in US.
One of the best experts to discuss present Bangladesh situation
Both Mr Saran and Mr Gokhale
what about the forced disappearance, murder and mayhem committed by this fascist leader.
So US and China are fishing in troubled waters and you’re asking India to be hands off?!
The killing violence is not only being done to minorities, whole countries is suffering from that! We formed squad to safeguard the houses,Mandir, mashjid, business organisation! But some how we guys always focus on one thing ! Students are managing the traffic, cleaning the road! The irregularities is seen everywhere as there is vacuum created by the absence of police force! Criminals are robbing houses at the middle of the night, vandalising. So it's not just minority who suffering..it's everyone. But at the same time common people with the students are doing a commendable job to restore stability! With the newly formed advisory panel we are everything will go back to normalcy. So stop just talking about one side.
PS: it was good and insightful interview! Thoroughly enjoyed it.and you guys earn my respect. Thank you for the interview
But still hindus attacked by mobs and destroying their horses and temples. By the way only 5% to 9% hindus left now. Hopefully it's not going to be another 1971.
Md Yunus is a microfinance specialist. No political or administrative experience. His Nobel medal is probably doubtful. He will make the country further poor and cash on poor man's financing without losing his image.
"no political or administrative experience", "noble medal is probably doubtful"😅😅.. say u are a dumb without saying
Here are my two words on your PM.
After just digging a little bit deeper found he has cases filed against him in Bangladesh but also the Norwegian Govt was not happy with him. Then saw the documentary from Investigative journalist TOM HEINEMANN on this noble soul called "THE MICRO DEBT" after which got the whole picture about him. He is just a LOAN SHARK who saw business opportunities in fleecing on innocent and poor Bangladeshis that too women by giving them loans on collaterals with high interest rates and made a fortune for himself and diversified into other areas through his DEBT TRAP. There is nothing genius in this to be awarded a Noble prize for.
So this microfinance is no rocket science there are lakhs of such entity here in India.
Americans keep giving this peace and noble prize of literature to their useful idiots in order to advance the nefarious American foreign policy objectives.
He is just a stooge for the Americans popped up into picture through this Noble prize, nothing else. A pretty long term investment that the Americans had made in him which is being used now.
as long as India don’t poke its nose to Bangladesh internal matter but friendship
Both country become beneficiaries
Hopefully Bangladeshi government will take all illegal Bangladeshis from our land. They are everywhere now.
What will India gain by poking nose in B'desh affairs😮 you have plenty of things to worry about so we wish all the best to you people
I believe you guys are one of very rare Indians who acknowledged that Bangladeshi people have their own agency and right to make their decision, all other so called Indian Experts think everything about Bangladesh is geo politics and Bangladeshi people are just audience, no my friend, we dont care about what is going on with India or Pakistan or US, we are owners of our country and we dont want anyone else to make decision for us. An advice to Nitin Gokhale when you know you have called an expert to your show who is pretty clear in expressing his view then it is very irritating to see when you keep interrupting and disturbing him and his flow of thoughts. We know your also an expert but let the expert guest speak freely and uninterrupted.
It was not nice. Thanks

@@AjitKumar-lo9yuindeed it is my programme. Where is the doubt?
Also Now it's also becoming clear that Awami league paid goon are involved in robbing in local areas.
Fantastic comment! Be vigilant about crucial interest of the Nation, don't let anyone hijack this historic n noble people Revolution for that thousands of students and people sacrifice their lives for the betterment this country! Best wishes
If "non political Hindus" are safe then why are temples being burnt down? You guys don't even have minimum intelligence required to form a cogent argument, and give lectures to us?
@@AbdulKalam-yw3zs Unfortunately almost entire Indian maids started propaganda against Bangladesh. They have no sympathy for over 1000 people who got killed and also no respect towards this student revolution. They’re only highlighting some specific points, which completely based on lies.
Coz politically non-aligned Hindu's n Buddhists and atheists have been attacked all over B'desh in the last 4 days n this has been reported by your news outlets😮
As a Bangladeshi i hope India help Bangladesh for Democracy not supporting killers like hasina think about what people
China will help you for democracy....😅
@@hkpandey1 just an indian explanation, we the people of Bangladesh are not agree with that, because there is no indian aid is visible in Bangladesh, all we are seeing is onle few suppliers credit loan, you can google it,and will learn.

Hindus r not being targeted. Stop falling for lies
First of all India should stop behaving to super power, and start respecting its small neighbours, treat them with dignity, when a nation votes for Hindu fundamentalist government in power, who treats it biggest minority as second class citizens, ask the innocent muslim of up, through out bjp states of India their house are bulldozed with any crime, just because of their religion, that nation has no right to lecture other nations on minorities rights, fix your own house first.
What about you, are you big or small
Even if Bangladesh Muslims give half the rights enjoyed by Indian Muslims, Bangladesh Hindus would he very grateful to u.
How many Hindu terrorist exist in Bangladesh and committed bomb blast
Sensible Analysis of the situation. The geography of India and Bangladesh can not be changed. Both countries need each other. India should build trust with all parties, not with any individual. However, the way other analysts interpret the situation is far from the reality. Thanks, Pankaj Saran
Now an interim govt headed by Mohd. Yunus is in power... India will obviously deal with the present dispensation..India cannot deal with other forces in Bangladesh...same way India was dealing with the Hasina govt when it was in power
Its an iran redux where moderate shah/hasina was overthrown by islamists, funded by foreign agencies. Only difference is iran has oil and bangaldesh has nothing. It's not going to end well.
The only dictating force playing out in🇧🇩VangaDeysha🇧🇩is⚒️👺☪️👺🪚Hence the culture of Seizure of power by any means is the standard template
Weak Bhatat
Too much Talk
No Rrsult
In entire discussion one most important factor is ignored ....why and who orchestrated this landslide event. And what is likely play . If it's USA, what is the purpose ? They wish to create unstable territory to keep India & china .
Can u remember what happened in gujrat?
Nope😁
Bailing out Bangladesh 😅
Plz comment on the Awami league and Hindus being targeted and massacred
First time, I heard two Indian talking very logical talking against Bangladesh. Whoever come to power in Bangladesh, should pay attention 'don't put all eggs in one basket'. We should be careful about right of all Bangladeshi (minority or majority). Thank you both of guys.
What first time? You watch trash on RUclips all day and blame all Indians lol?
Our foreign currency is drained out to Modi ji through Hasina & Adani and many other ways.
Equation is very simple.
I don't understand why your journalists and diplomats struggle to understand this simple equation.
Please stop sucking Bangladesh.
Enough is enough. Take care.
Its you indiang always come to Bangladesh to make the Balance, imbalance
Why don’t you talk about your Modi’s Hindu Radicals
India should stop treating this revolution as a revolution that led by jamaat-BNP. That hurt us sharp. We need Indian support and India should stop blindly supporting Hasinas family and Awami League
We very well know this is not a revolution but a Chaos brought in students who were instigated by the BNP and Jamaat.
I am glad that the Bangladesh peace process has begun, and
maybe the military be work in tandem with BNP, and Jamaat-a-Islam,etc
Let us hope that,in a now post -Awami League era, the powers that be could stich together, a cohesive, reliant, resilient and strong government
With due respect to Ms.Hasina, I wish she should have resigned before the 2024 elections, and handed power to her second-in-command in the league
This stratagem would not only be face-saving for her,and keep her as de jure leader
Look, 15 years is a very, very time in politics and Hasina Madam should have taken the call when it sounded.Nobody can stay in politics forever
The crux of the matter is that all the investment done by india in bangladesh stands SUNK.
You can blame modi for that Blunder , backing a mass murderer & illegal regime . India had good relationship with the dictator/party rather than the people
Jai Hind. India cannot do anything. Let Yunus govern the Umat with his Jamaat allies.
Sir the young society of Bangladesh and the minority religious people and a large Muslim population no longer like BNP Awami League and everyone is asking Dr. Md. Yunus to lead the government for five years and a anti communal person like Dr. Muhammad will be the head of the government of Bangladesh.
