Super cute card, thanks for showing a way to make it without a punch. I am sitting here watching while also make the wonderful easy cards your taught called "How to Make a Happy Birthday Card Fast" and using some of my extra designer paper I have. Thanks for teaching us so many new ideas.
Cathy I am sooooo happy that I shared how to change this card and that it helped you! You made my day when you said that you were making cards using my How To Make a Happy Birthday Card Fast" video! Thank you very much for your comment! Happy Stampin'!
Gosh, Sharon, I'm hard pressed to choose which design I like better! They are both so pretty! One thought I had when watching you punch out those two layers of cardstock: why not use a rectangle die to cut out the center of that daffodil yellow panel? You could then use that scrap as the background for a sentiment panel on another card, and it would be easier to punch out the butterfly. Plus, it would lessen the weight for mailing. Just an idea. Love these cards!
I have now watched a couple of your video and I like the cards you made. So glad I ran across your videos . Will be watching for more videos from you 🦋
I love both cards, but think that I like the one in the middle best. Thanks for showing how to stamp the butterflies. I appreciate all your tips. I would love to see a card made using the watercolor pencils. Keep making these wonderful videos!!!
Dear Sharon l too love yellow. l love these cards. I have this set and I will need to make these card sometime today in every gingham color. Using the punch will make them so easy and so fast. I love watching your videos. Thank you. Pattie Weed, Rushford NY
My sister is having surgery next week, and I’m going to Colorado to help her out for a couple of weeks. I have been looking for projects to take to craft with her granddaughter. This would be perfect!
Thank you Charleen! I am glad you enjoy my cards. One day perhaps I can always offer printable tutorials. There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to do it all! LOL
Hi, Sharon! I’m going to use this as my Mother’s Day card for my church papercrafting get-together tomorrow! Love both versions but I have a ton of gingham gala left, so that’ll be mine. Love your videos!
Hi Sharon, it's always fun to listen to you and to realize that you've got the same thoughts as me: when I first saw the stamp set I thought: WHAT are these strange items good for? Well, until I realised that they're part of the butterflies... Once again your cards give me lots of ideas of what to do with the butterfly set and finally (after three months of waiting for it) I got the punch last week. So now, I will at last be able to start making the book for the baptism of my granddaughter. The book will be filled with lots of different butterflies - as butterflies are as UNIQUE as humans. I wish you happy Easter days Love from Germany Evelyn
I'm so glad we think the same way! I am happy that I could give you some ideas today! The book for your granddaughter sounds Amazing! I'm sure she will cherish it! Happy Easter from Arizona!
Love these. I've been using both new butterfly stamp sets like a crazy woman.😅. I goi g to make some note cards using them like this for gifts...LOVE THEM
Nice card! I find using an x-acto knife works so much better lifting the rhinestones and pearls as it is very pointy and flat and gets under them very well (just my opinion and helpful tidbit lol)
I love these cards. There are so many different options for making this card I can’t wait to make one
So glad you love them!
