I love Meg's delicacy on drums, though of course she shows a lot of power-playing when it is appropriate. The perfect back-up to that which is sheer brilliance: Jack White. They are both fabulous and right now I am glad to listen to this song for the first time ever.
I think I'll have a slice of Jack White here. He looks extra yummy. In fact give me all of him I can think of a few things I could use him for XD On a more serious note, I love this song, and I think they're amazing live. I hope I get to see them in the flesh someday :)
@LillyCandyCane totally agree with you on the jack white front he is yummyyy and a total musical genius on top of it. :) this is such a great white stripes song. Great duo love them!!
@Guilmon470 Oh you should SERIOUSLY get the Blackpool Lights DVD. I swear I watched it like 10 times in a row and never got bored of it. i also just got their 'Under Great White Northern Lights' DVD/CD pack. It's also brilliant, I love them both.
Definitely! A lot of their live performances are more interesting than the album versions. I wanted to get blackpool lights but that dvd's so damn expensive now! D:
@julieswahn I see this post 2 years after it was posted. Do you still follow jack's work? Nice to see somebody appreciate what meg did, she was really a fantastic drummer.
Damn I love this song. White Stripes is one of the very few bands that I can enjoy watching live performances looped.
