My Uncle had bee hives, when I was 9 yrs old I had a swarm enclose my torso and left arm from a tree I was stood under. I didn't panic and slowly and carefully, so not to frighten them, followed my Uncle to an empty hive and they walked from my arm into the hive. It took 45 minutes, and I remember being fascinated looking and eventually finding the queen. Not one sting, nothing, I remember they were heavy and warm, and smelled wonderful. My Uncles friend said I was now Bee touched, and now that they knew me, they would never hurt me. I've picked up Bumble Bees who have gotten too heavy with pollen, and helped them. Honey Bees often land on me. Over the years I've often had Bees walk on me as I've been gardening, never once have I been stung. They are very special creatures. People don't realise how much we need them, they're an important part of the worlds ecosystem. Great video, I really enjoy watching people working with the Bees to save them.

Your love for the bees is well documented, and if any person within 200 miles of Metairie LA needs bee transference, you are the number 1 choice! God bless you, sir!
Nowadays every bee hive is precious and we all benefit of their work. Thats why it is crucial to reallocate them, when they disturb us instead of destroying them.
@kniofite I would be calm but alert (i.e. checking every time my chair if it is "bee free" beforevusing it). Bees are not carnivore creatures so they would not attack you without a reason. PS. I have heard about cosmetic that maked bees aggressive but i dont know it is just an urban legend.

Hats off to you for rehoming instead of killing. We need to encourage regular bees and stop their decline. Now if I were there even though I respect them and what they do they would have gone nuts on me for the sake of it.
most bee colonies arent declining because of humans but the up coming bee populations of the killer bee colonies where killer bees kill the honey bees and swarm them, they love war against other colonies
