Amazing! After a few drinks I was able to program my panel, step by step with your videos! None of the women share my enthusiasm or like the beeping but thats fine.
Stumbled across this 2GIG system and appreciate the video's. One comment I might add about keyfobs is that enabling the disarm button really doesn't pose much of a security concern. If you were to lose the fob and keys it would be for the most part impossible for someone to determine which home they matched. One scenario might be that you have lost your purse which also had your license and address information, but in that case I would agree that disabling the sensor would be easy enough. Once again appreciate the video's....
really good scenario. very common I just got mine and realized I need a "shield" of some sort because on my key chain..its constantly getting pressed. which lead me to go to my phone ( or back in my pocket) to disarm. still a great fast system
Hi! Would you be able to make a video for the GC3 where the star * on the keyfob opens and closes a garage over head door, and showing on the video as well how you would wire the garage over head door wires into the GC3c, thank you!
This is a pretty specific request. There are other, easier ways to incorporate a garage door with a 2GIG system and Alarm.com, so at this time, we won't be making this video. We appreciate you watching, though, and if you have other ideas for videos, let us know. We take requests from our viewers all the time!
Hi alarm grid, I have a Slomin’s shield 2GIG GC2 and a TS1 that I had installed years ago, I haven’t paid it because they gave us problems, so now we want to use it I hooked it up and it seems to work, only for one thing. When I disarm on the key fob the screen becomes completely white, blank and then it does the whole process of system disarmed, ready to arm what does this mean, it only happens when it’s on the key fob no problems when using the touchpad.
Hi, @stumpingrimy1686, there are some key fobs from other manufactures, with special configured modules that will allow status to the keyfob, Just not this specific system.
Entry delay is not as you described in the video. Entry delay scenario: Alarm is armed, entry door is opened, alarm allows several seconds for the user to walk over to the panel and disarm via the panel with a code. No entry delay scenario: Alarm is armed, entry door is opened, alarm immediately sounds and does not provide any amount of time to walk over to the panel to disarm.
You're welcome, we're glad we could help. If your system isn't monitored and you're interested, check out our low-cost, no-contract monitoring: www.alarmgrid.com/monitoring

other than that, thanks for providing the walk through on adding a keyfob!
Wow I really like that when I open the door it almost went off but I disarm it with my key fob
Yes keyfobs can be really handy at times. Thanks for the feedback and hope you enjoy our videos.
Worked perfectly! Thank you!

Can I program this panel remotely?
End users will not be able to program this panel remotely but alarm monitoring companies, such as Alarm Grid, can.
How low the
