    Hey.. Why is it an open set and not a closed set? How can I tell when to use open or closed or half closed or half open

      Slim Thanos look up the property of closure. This should help. I don’t know if there exists a half open property... if you’re speaking in terms of the interval bounds being open or closed this can be discerned by evaluation at the edge of bounds given the numerical set definition and given function. Hope this helps!
