I told them hard to deliver parts when 3 of the cars are awaiting transmissions and asked them to get rid of these Fords Focus and we back on track, 2 weeks later I had 4 brand new nissan nv200 lets just say parts were on time till the day I retired and started my own business.

I also owned one, a 2018 with 0 miles and the cvt transmission started over heating at 42k miles. I changed the fluid at 40k miles. Also, have you seen the crash test video? If you hit someing bigger than it fast, 100% chance of totalling it and occupants will have major bodily injuries. Cars passing me on the highway would make the whole car shake. My friends and I were driving to on the highway in a small group and they said on some turns, it looked like i was on 3 wheels ready to flip going 75 mph. I kept it till I wouldn't be upside down on trade-in. There is a reason why its going to be discontinued after 2024 I believe. The only, only, and only positive about that car was the mpg and low cost. I think now they are $20k for a base model.

    Ok Brad, you've redeemed yourself.
You may know nothing about collectables, but you're a connoisseur in spotting the piss-beer of daily drivers. All of the Jeep picks (except the wrangler, which hasn't been deserving until recent years) I've been calling crap for the same reasons. Lack of reliability. A number of other cars could be put on this list, but at least have redeeming qualities. An example is the Cooper S. At least its fun to drive. I did expect more BMWs on this list. I also expected at least one Honda due to the mentioned transmission issues, which we saw.
The Q50 doesn't look cheap at least. But the Sonic, the 500, the Mirage, and the Fiesta have always looked like disposible entry cars for years. Starting at around $16k new, you get what you pay for.
Landrover has been a line of maintenance nightmares for a long time now. Discovery comes to mind as another example. This might be why I'm not a fan of the Defender. It looks like an electrical disaster waiting to happen. Someone will have to tell me if that's true or not. I'm just not sold. With the Ineos Grenadier as a direct competitor, it's a more traditional offroad vehicle.
Speaking of which, have you guys looked at the Gaz Tigr, or the Uaz Hunter as a replacement for your Bronco?
Overall, I can't really disagree with any of these entries. I am curious what your take is on the 2016 Nissan Maxima. I have a friend that swears by the one he had. I'm not sold though.
BTW, even though Chrysler started the minivan, the Caravan has been an unreliable pile since the 90s. They were popular because they were cheap. The Aerostar is probably one of the best minivans ever made, next to the Astro. At least in the domestic market. The Sienna and the Odyssey are modern equivelants. At least until around 2012. I'm not so sure about these days.
For full sized vans, I'm a real fan of the Chevy Express.
    Until next time,
    Cheers.

The Chevy express has been virtually unchanged over the last 15 years, a 2022 model has the same radio that my old 2008 Silverado 1500, but I’m assuming their logic is if it ain’t broke don’t fix it, which I completely agree with

The Volvos are excellent until you need to do maintenance call or repair, but what makes it worst is fact that their is no repair manual available it makes victims of the owner, just can you get a workshop repair manual

@@dancho0012I mean, he could be. He did specify the interior and ergonomics being good. Typically we care more about getting to our destination, than how comfortable we are getting there... Depending on distance. Therefore, it's a little like working in the paint department for the Fiat 500. The paint and clear coat can be perfect. They don't matter if the car spends most of its days in the shop.

You are right on one point. Volvo has come a long way since the 240. Trouble is that it is ALL downhill. My 240 has had to haul several newer Volvo XC models out of ditches. Yes, the XCs were all wearing proper winter tires as was my old beast. The controls in the 240 are sensible. Not so the new ones. The new things, which means anything newer to the market than the 900 series, are okay cars but piss poor Volvos. Volvo lost the plot in the 90s.

The Infiniti q50 is fast.. We all know that more power means more gas.. Fuel is not an issue when you're having fun.. Handing.. Like with all cars.. Bigger wheels means Less Tire cushion between the street and the rim/suspension components resulting in firm to hard bumps.. Bad cornering just get performance struts 🏃🏾🏃🏾🏃🏾🏃🏾🏃🏾🤣😆😆

100k mi engine rebuilds FTL. Those oil injectors are also cancer. Same with the wiring harness. Then there's the giant nut holding the flywheel in place. All to replace some apex seals that wear out due to being more complex than piston rings. Good effing lord. And engine braking, not really a thing in an RX-8. Such a hard pass. The look and speed of that car is so not worth the headache. Give me an STi over an RX-8. Easily the lesser of the two evils.

The Mirage is a step up from chinesium. It's the modern Yugo. I'm sure they will be collectors items in the future. In other countries, these things are great. But in the US, they get trampled on the highway. They're also pretty much disposible. I'm interested to see how they fair in Germany.
The Q50 is just an under performer... Supposedly. Reliability doesn't seem to be in question, despite the thumbnail. I don't know man, these guys are hit or miss sometimes.
